Good Morning Ladies - - - It's 60 and mostly cloudy, but will be warming up and will be in the upper 80's for the weekend. Sounds like a good week, and then colder for the following weekend. I need to hit the shower yet and get ready to go have lunch with some of DH's cousins. Otherwise not much happening her yet. Have a good day ladies.

Another gloomy morning with no sunshine till late afternoon. Temp is 64 now will go to the 70s later.
IC that's a long wait for the surgery!
Greenback the lunch with some to dH's family sounds like a good time for all. Hope the food is as good as the company!
Laurie I will ask them about any suggestions for Barcelona. I only only know of bull fights and the running of the bulls. They lived in Madrid and then in a couple of small places in the north. I'm sure they visited Barcelona.
The travelers are home and no sign of Covid, we still have 2 kids that have dodged it so far. Maybe the four will miss it this time around. Guess I should think about getting a flu shot and another Covid shot. One of each every year!
Time to move to the chair and check on Kindle
Still nothing much happening here. I'm doing a lot of sitting and reading. I did go back upstairs yesterday I sure was tired when I got back down here.

Good morning, yes, it's a cloudy, cool, morning here too and also to start a warming trend for the next few days. I'll appreciate some sunshine. The funeral for my Sunday school teacher is today so I'll be leaving to go to that. Tonight the kids will be here with supper and there's a few things that DSIL will be doing for me! I sure appreciate the help!!
ICOOK That is a long wait. It seems to be that way here to, whether it's medical, dental or eyes. It sure is different than it used to be. I guess everything is different now days.
GREENBACK You have a good day plan! It's always enjoyable when we can get with family and just talk about the good old things and all the things that's going on at the present time. Enjoy your time with them. How many will be there? I hope the food is good too.
GRAMMY Having the family home is always a good feeling. And they came home healthy! Those things that used to be so easy aren't as easy as they once was. Enjoy Kindle and anything you do today.

The golf cart has to go back to the shop. They charged me for fixing the brake pad, and it was neither fixed or replaced. 😡 So I called them. Denny said he didn’t know if they could get the part. So I asked why was I charged then as if it was fixed.. I told him that I found the part needed on Amazon. He will order the part and call me when it is in. But I am not paying for pick up and delivery when it should’ve been done the first time. He knows I was not happy.
This morning after I took Mandy down I cleaned up and headed to WM for a haircut. I was happy that I got right in and she did a good job…. I think. When I got home I took a shower but I never like the way my hair lays right after. So tomorrow morning I’ll see how it lays. If I don’t like it, I’ll go back. After my shower I changed the sheets and then Mandy and I took the garbage down and went for a ride around the park.
It was so nice this morning but it’s starting to get a tad warm now. There is not one lick of a breeze either. If there was some air moving it would be much better. It sounds like this weekend will be nice but windy. Finally out of the triple digits. 😁
Not sure what I’ll do the rest of the day, but I hope to stay out of my recliner and get something done, even if it’s wrong.

I don’t eat steak and they do so much for me. They had golden apples on sale. I bought 2 bags of those. I hope everyone is well. sorted through some papers. Glad that is done. Have a good day.🍄🍄

Good afternoon to all. It is warm here, too, and supposed to be even warmer at home in Missouri tomorrow. It's been kind of a frustrating day or two--lots of hoops to jump through to get medical bills considered for payment from Mike's company for his ER visit and follow ups and for the two days of work he missed. He was assured everything would be taken care of, but heard nothing until he finally checked on how to proceed now that we are getting bills. So, now, after being back at work for a month, they want all sorts of doctor's authorizations for him to return to work, medical records (which don't specifically state that his visit was due to heat stress, so I am sure that is going to be another hassle), etc., etc. And, been trying to negotiate an October 15 versus November 5 release date from our lease here at the apartment and they want lots of info, too--some of which is medical and I don't want to give it to them! Just been a lot of phone, computer, and apartment complex office visit time when I would have much rather been doing something else. But, I also want Mike to get what is coming to him as far as payment for the hospital bills and the days of work missed!
Anyway, I have read about each of yours' day and sounds like others have frustrations, too. Grammy glad you are feeling a bit stronger. I know your family will be watching over you and take good care of you, but you take care of yourself, too!
Mama, I would be mad about the golf cart, too!
Jane, hope you enjoyed the fellowship and food with your beloved DH's family today.
Elle, what's on the dinner menu with your DDs and DSILs tonight?
IC Cook, it takes forever for appointments and procedures these days!
Carolyn, yesterday I made an Ozark Apple Cake with cream cheese icing that has both coconut and nuts in it. We had a big supper last night (fettuccini alfredo with chicken, salad, and mozzarella stuffed breadsticks) so we didn't have dessert and we haven't cut it yet. It may just sit in the fridge this weekend as we are going home tonight and I don't want to cart it back and forth.
Laurie, I'm going to post our very favorite vinegar-based cole slaw dressing. One of the local parish picnics serves this at their picnic which is always the Sunday of Labor Day weekend and I eat more of it and the sliced home-grown tomatoes they always have than I do anything else. I begged for the dressing recipe and finally got it!
Time to post that recipe and get ready to pack up to go home tonight. We have a cross country meet for Drew tomorrow morning and then will hustle our bustle to a football game for Emmett. We plan to take DMIL to both, but now it is forecast to be in the 90s, so not sure she will want to go. Just a couple more weeks of this back and forth....love to all. Have a great weekend.

Debbie what a hassle y trying to deal with Ins and Apt lease, you don't need that now. Hope it all gets resolved quickly.
Laurie, I did ask DD and DSIL and they had only been to Barcelona twice and all they could suggest was the Holy Family Church. Said you can't miss it, it is the largest thing in Barcelona and has spectacular stained glass windows.

DEBBIE It was ribs and pulled pork for supper. Don't give up getting what you're entitled to. Be safe this weekend and find time to just breathe and relax. Hugs
