Good Morning....
It's another dreary and rainy day.
Grammy...hope you aren't feeling too bad.
Here's a few pics of DS#2 newest work, these are bowls and the sweater DD made for Teddy.
 
I made a new soup last night that really turned out good. It was super easy. I'll be making it again.

Hello everyone! It's a quiet and overcast day here, the birds are noisy out there. I slept in and it was glorious! I do think my "me" day did wonders. The downside is that I spaced out #2's GF's birthday, Amazon card it will be. I'll call her and text her a card. I need to finish some online training for school, so I'll get to that now, the Yeti is off to take his dad to the dr in Fargo. There's still some coffee, blessed be everyone.

I had a busy day yesterday so didn't make it here. Christina was here We took Tinker to the vet. She has a problem we're dealing with. Inflamed gums She's on liquid antibiotics. It's hard to get pills down her.
Delores had a surprise for me yesterday She told me to come over She has pay channels She had the ELVIS movie that was made on his life. I loved it. The actor that portrayed him was so good.
The sun is out finally after four days of clouds & rain.
CJ I like the wreath. Nice sweater too Your DS work is good.
Grammy So sorry you have Covid again. I know you'll take it easy.

These cooler mornings are so very nice. I love having the doors and windows open after a long hot summer and being closed up tight. But we have another few days of heat so things will get closed up tight before noon. I'll enjoy it while I can.
Last night I slept wrong with my knee. It's so painful I needed my cane. I'm hoping whatever caused it I won't do that again. Walking in the sand in the pet area is hard enough on a good day but today I walked in there like I was drunker than a skunk. LOL
Not much on the agenda for today other than the usual daily tasks. And they aren't much anymore. I do hope I hear something about my golf cart. I miss having it around here. It really does make a lot of things easier around here.
No idea what I'll have for lunch or supper today. Maybe I should take a good look in the freezer and see what is hiding in the back that needs to get eaten or tossed.

Good morning grannies and it is a much better morning! I feel soooo much better today. DD called the Dr, office early morning but it was about 5 before we got the call that we could pick up the meds. I call them magic pills! Just a few hours and I began to feel better and this morning is much better. I even wanted my coffee this morning. When I'm sick I can't stand coffee,not even the smell. This is so different than the other time I had Covid I had pills but they didn't work this fast. Kathy is #4 this morning wonder who will be next.
Nothing new to report from here. I slept most of the day yesterday, if anything happened I missed it.
Laurie so glad the passport problem was easily taken care of. When a move takes place things get lost or things we haven't seen in years surface.
Mamma hope the golf cart gets back soon. I'm sure you miss and Mandy
miss it.
IC the movie was probably a great time for an Elvis fan. What a good friend Delores is to remember to invite you to watch the movie with her.

Good Morning Ladies - - - I needed a change of color for the day, so here it is! It's 65 and cloudy, still a might chilly - - By the weekend, it's to be in the high 80's. We had more rain in the afternoon yesterday and then last night I heard it raining again - that was about 10:30, an after that, who knows, I don't hear much after I have my CPAP on. All of it is welcome.
CJ, I love the bowl and the sweater - both are a work of art - - I had just been thinking about your son and wondering what he was working these days. IS he happy with how business is in NM, or is most of his sales on line?
Laurie, glad you got that me day in and with the Yeti gone today, you have another one. How fun for you to hook up with the guy from Genoa for a quick visit. I'm sure you were surprised to see that truck.
IC, how nice of Delores to call and have you come over to watch the movie. Yu had a good day yesterday with visiting with Christine and her.
Mamma, I hope your GC returns home soon - I am sure you don't realize how much you use it, until you don't have it there.
Grammy, I am so happy that you are feeling better. Are the travelers back again? Those must be some mighty powerful pills. Take care.
One of the churches in town is having a drive through ham dinner tonight - I will see later today if I want to go get a meal or not. I did make goulash yesterday, so not like I don't have anything ready,, but nice to support the other churches too... It's ham, cheesy hash browns, baked beans, coleslaw and a pumpkin bar. I will see if I feel like getting out tonight to go get it, or if the goulash sounds better - - I would have made chili but didn't have the tomato juice. Time to keep that and kidney beans on hand all the time through the fall and winter now.

Good afternoon,
The morning got away from me quick.The weather is nice but very dry.
ICook, I seen the Elvis movie while I was in Florida. I liked it very much.
This time we went to see the Sound of Freedom. It is an amazing movie. We cried.
i just had a visit from my sweet baby. It makes my day to see him.
Laundry is almost done. I have so much I should do, but don’t know where to start. I did get the bills are organized. Called and changed my due date on a insurance.

Jane, when I was at the store yesterday they had some veggies 3/$1 so I grabbed corn and French cut green beans for Al. They didn't have peas or carrots and the doesn't eat creamed corn. I'll put those with some of the other stuff that I have to take with me when I go up. I try to stock things in his pantry when they go on sale, he also likes the low sodium chunky soups.

Laurie, your talk about the veggies made me think about a salad that was at the funeral last week. I am sure you have had the Copper Penny salad at one time or another. It is cooked carrot coins, onion and green peppers in a dressing with tomato soup as the main ingredient. There was one there that used the baby carrots and they were on the bigger side for baby carrots and then they weren't cooked. Really a disappointment when I bit into the first one. One lady at our table just left hers.
Nice of you to pick up those things for Al. Sounds like he does a pretty good job of cooking for himself when there aren't leftover things from when you are there.
Carolyn - seeing that little one would make my day too!
