Good Morning....
Started out with some light rain. It was nice listening to it before I got up.
Today I need to go shopping for Teddy's b'day gift. I have no idea what it will be. Guess I'll go look around and see what I can find.
Not much happening yet. Just enjoying my coffee before I get the day started.
Have a great day.........

Good morning. Sunny and cool this morning but hot this afternoon and pretty much the rest of the week. I'll enjoy the mornings at least.
My coffee is about done while I sit and wait for the shop to come and pick up my cart. I think I'm just going to give them the go ahead for new batteries and to fix the brake light pad. I'll never get the pad replaced as I had planned. I know everything will cost me more than I paid for the cart, but I do rely on the cart for quite a bit more than just Mandy. I realized that after it quit running correctly and I've had to use the car. At least my car is economical to drive. God will provide and I do have some money put aside for emergencies.
Off to make the bed and put the now dry supper dishes away.

Good Morning Ladies - - - It's 63 and cloudy but will warm up as the day goes on. Sounds like it will be a nice week. Nothing planned on my end, but will see what happens. Laurie, have a nice day also - are you off to school today? CJ, hope you find something special for Teddy's BD gift. So much out there, and then they already have so much, but still fun to give them more. It's so fun to watch them unwrap the gifts. Sure sounds like you found a dog that wound up in your heart - - Now we will see what happens - but then too, I know, out of sight, out of mind - - Will see what you deceide. Not much happening here yet - clothes in the washer - might be ready for the dryer, so I better go check.

Good morning, cloudy and 65*. We won't be seeing much sunshine today and it's misty out there now. I do want to go to Aldi's. The list is growing. I might make some ham and bean soup too. Soup is sounding good with the cooler, fall weather. I keep looking a places I've neglected to clean and know it's getting time to get the soap and cleaners out and go to work. I watched a lot of football and took a longer than I wanted to nap yesterday but I still slept well. DD and spouse are on their way to Hawaii this a.m. I sure will miss them but so happy they can do this. They'll be gone until the middle of next week.
LAURIE Good morning and thanks for the coffee.
CJ You'll know just the right toy for Teddy when you see it. Will Penny want to help him open the gifts? About the dog your DH fell in love with. When I was leaving the vet office without Kayli, I said to the receptionist, "you'll probably never see me again." She kindly put her hand on my shoulder and said "you might not want to get another dog, but there might be a dog out there that needs you." I've never forgotten that and thought is was probably true.
MAMMA Things are so pricey! and especially on a fixed income. But I hope you will be happy with the money it costs for the repairs. I remind myself, I can't take $$ with me and my kids have more than I do. LOL
ICOOK Little Miss Tinker seems to like the cover and rules the nest. I say go ahead and spoil her, she's worth it. No laundry here today, that will be later in the week.
GREENBACK Your Monday sounds like mine, nothing planned but we'll see what comes our way. One never knows. So far, my week isn't too busy, just the normal things.
The mail just went so I'll see what's in my mailbox.

Good morning grannies, it's a dark, dreary cloudy morning with the temp at 61 earlier heading up to about 70 this afternoon. I'm dresses in my winter outfit or jeans and sweat shirt and I'm still not warm. I even have the electric heater on! Upstairs it's prob a nice 74*.Nothing much happening today just my laundry getting done then I well get the job of foldin/hanging and putting things away. House is clean so not even much of that to do, just some pick up and put away.
Laurie, off again! Have a good day whatever you do.
CJ What fun to check out all the birthday possibilities for a present for the little dgs. Prob something to wear and something to play with. Grandma won't be able to resist.
Mamma, sounds like a good decision. Get all those repairs done and enjoy the golf cart. I need an adjustable seat in order to get in the right position. Plus a convenient place to park it or I would get one.We have lots of space to use it.
Greenback a slow day for me also. A dark day here but no rain expected till Wed. or Thur.
IC got to keep those thing clean for Tinker!
I see Elle just came in so adding a note for her. Never say never, you never know what sweet furry baby might be waiting for you.
Coffee is long gone but it will soon be time for some lunch. I was awake early and finally got out of be about 6. I do like the quiet mornings.

GRAMMY Your weather seems to be like mine. I certainly relate to your warm clothes. My kids just don't understand how I can be so cold. LOL Just wait, their turn is coming. LOL And, never say never, after having 3 teenage daughters, I said that a lot! But when it comes to another dog, I will not let myself give in to the never.....there, I've said it. LOL :-) I hope your day will fill in with pleasant surprises and thoughts.

OH! NO! DD tested positive for Covid! She escaped when we all had it last year but this time it caught her. She is not feeling good at all. DGD an d Chef left for GA today he has a speaking engagement there with all expenses paid for both of them! Plus $$$ ! How could she turn that down. That all means that DSIL and I will try to keep the wheels on the rails till this is over. I'll be cooking again! Hope I remember how to do some stuff! Tonight it will be the brisket we didn't have yesterday, Chef roasted it this morning now I need to find something to to with it.
First thing, Soraya will supervise as the other two make banana pudding! Yummm one of my favorites. I'll take my phone upstairs and tell dd to call if she wants anything. Covid once in my lifetime was one too many!

I bet that brisket and the cooking you do will be very good and enjoyable. Praying for you and your family. I love banana pudding. I'll put my cool whip bowl on your patio if you'll share it with me. LOL

Grammy I'm so sorry the COVID hit your home again. Prayers on the way. It may sound dumb to some of you but I've been back to wearing a mask. Around here I see quite a few are doing the same. There are a number of people in the hospital again and with winter and closeness there will be more. Another reason I do online church in the winter.....too many people squished in one area. The population down here doubles and then some in the winter.
The truck just left with Arnold/golf cart. They are short two guys today so they are behind.. I'm hoping that I won't have to wait too long to get her back. Once something is gone you realize how much you need it. Shelby looks so lost in the carport without Arnold. hehehe And now the heat is on the rise, and I'm stuck using the car for Mandy and not finding a shaded area for her very easily. She is stuck with a 4x4 area in the gravel/rocks. And she hates that. I do plan on taking her to the pet area tonight after sundown so she can stretch her legs a bit. That is if the sand isn't too hot for her. Then she can move around some. When I have the golf cart I take her under the big solar panels where there is shade all day. We walk that area nicely. Temp is at 102ยบ with a bit of a breeze and full sunshine.
Not sure what supper will be but I hope it's not a tv dinner. UGH!!! I'm thinking a hamburger patty with pepper jack cheese and mushrooms, baked potato and lettuce salad. I wonder if that will happen or not? I don't want to start the oven when the a/c is working so hard or I would make a pizza from scratch. I've not had one in a very long time. Mmmmmm

OH, NO! The second one now has tested positive for Covid! DSIL was the next one! He wasn't feeling well when he came back from taking Chef and DGD to the airport. The test said he has it. Hope the rest of us stay well! Soraya helped with supper but I'm still worn out and will try to stay awake till 10.

Grammy, I am also saddened to hear that DD has covid. Is she downstairs with you, as you said you were going up stairs and would call her on the cell if needed? Maybe I just didn't understand that correctly. We have had a shower again this afternoon, and it is thundering once again now too, so maybe more. It came down hard for awhile, but not all that long. Every bit helps now, especially going into the winter season. We need a lot more subsoil moisture. Mamma, I am having the rest of the pizza I fixed last night. I hadn't had pizza much lately so it tasted really good to me. Your burger meal sounded very good to me too! Hope the golf cart will be back soon.
