Good Morning...
It's a very cool breezy sunny morning. Didn't go out to the swing. That will be later when it warms up.
Not sure what I'll do today but I'm sure I'll find something...even if it is just sitting on my swing...LOL
I haven't seen any hummers in quite a while...so I guess they are gone for this year.
Not much news...so I'll wish everyone a great day............

Going to be a rainy day for me again today & rather chilly. Think I'll stay in my nightgown for the day. I'll be busy today Swiffing floors. Want to wash my couch & love seat covers. I have one last small zucchini to cook.

Goodmorning grannies, almost time to head out the door to church. I just wanted to take a minute for the GN this morning. This another birthday celebration day.DD@1 birthday was a week ago and GGD Cassandra's was Friday.This will be party day with family, food, ice cream, cake and don't forget the presents! It will get busy after church and I might eat too much to get back here!
It's a beautiful sunshiney day and getting a bit warmer. By the time I decide on something to wear it's too warm for it! So hard to find that in between thing to wear. Too warm or not warm enough! I'll wear a sweater I can take it off or keep it on
Elle so very sorry to hear that you lost you precious fur baby.
CJ I vote for the swing enjoy the time you spend there. It will too cold all to soon!
IC don't do too much work today remember there is always more to do!
Time to find my "stuff" and get ready to head out

Good morning.
It's so nice and cool this morning. I was hoping Mandy could enjoy the pet area a little longer but the two terrors came so we left and headed home. Those two dogs are so undisciplined and can even be mean, even through the fence. For some reason the one really hates Mandy. At least Mandy got to finish her duty.
This morning I will be attending a new church. That is if I don't talk myself out of it. I don't do new and unknown easily. If I'm correct it's a bigger church than what I am used to as well. And I don't do bigger either. When the birds come the church will have two services so that tells me I won't be attending in the winter. But most churches here grow in the winter. It will be back to on line for me. Ok, I'm getting ahead of things. I'll see what today brings and not worry about the future. I'll try anyway. I'd stay where I was at if they had communion more than once a year and a couple other reasons. I am baptist and the church was not. Who knows I may go back just because I don't like change. hehehe
Nothing else planned but I really would like to find the mood and start on the quilt top. It's super easy and would only take a little over an hour to finish. To totally complete though, I'll have to go to the store and find fabric for the border. It will be Christmas lap blanket or throw. Nothing too big.
CJ, I hope it warms up enough for you to enjoy your swing. Like Grammy said, those days will go by quickly.

Good morning all, it's a rainy day here. The dog dish was full this morning and has another inch in it already. We were to go do something at Ann's cabin, but now it's unlikely. That's fine, I have stuff to do and will mosey to those things as soon as I get done here.

Good Morning Ladies - - - we must have had a shower over night - seems to be wet out, but nothing coming down since I have been up. It's 62 and cloudy. More rain a possibility for today and we can use it too. It must be the moisture in the air as my legs really aren't working good at all today. I did get to church, and finally remembered to check the kitchen for my tupperware bowl that has been there for a month or more. I was going to bring it home the day I took it, but couldn't find the lid and knew as they cleaned up it would come out of hiding. Then after that, I just kept forgetting to go to the kitchen. It will be our turn to serve the next funeral again, so good that I got it home so it will be ready to get filled again. Hopefully it will be sometime before that happens. I stopped at KS and phoned in my order for curb side delievery and of course, it was busy after church, so I had to wait quite awhile, but that's okay - I just appreciate them having this service. I got to people watch while I was waiting.
CJ, hopefully later it will be nice enough to go to the swing. Did you have fun with the puppies yesterday and did any win your heart over?
IC, I have a day like that yesterday when I didn't bother to get dressed. I finally took my shower about 5:30 and didn't see much reason to get dressed then!
Grammy, it is hard to know what to put on in this kind of weather. One is either to cool or to hot. It is so damp here today. I'm sure when I get to my chair I will be wanting my blanket on, but then some of that is just habit. My security blanket! Have a nice BD dinner today - what will be on the menu this time?
Mamma, I hope you bit the bullet and tried the new church today - It will be easier to start now before the SB all arrive. More new people to meet and make friends with. Enjoy your cooler morning.
Laurie, it seems like you have been getting some nice rains lately - I'm sure you needed them also, just like us. Too bad you can't do what you need to at Ann's cabin, but like you said, there is always enough to do, if you want to do it!

I want to thank everyone for the Happy Birthday wishes. I sure did need them and appreciated them.
Elle, sorry to hear about Kayli. Hugs to you! One of the reasons I don't have pets although I love them. I can't handle the passing.
Lots of stuff happening and nothing happening. How can that be?
I'm a great grandma again to a sweet little girl, Elyah Shae. Born the end of July. Can't wait to be able to hold her. February hopefully.
We have got 1 1/2" of rain from Ophelia. It's been a gentle rain though and is needed and appreciated.
Tomorrow I'll be using up the tomatoes making spaghetti sauce. Only have pole beans yet to do and they are not progressing very fast. That has been the life of our garden this year.
I guess I should say that it is 93 days till Christmas. Thought you'd all like to hear that. LOL. I made all the kids and grandkids a cookbook for Christmas. Now I'm working on finishing a pet cover quilt for Tina's sofa. After that, want to make DGS a Christmas tree out of slats. He doesn't get a tree so figured I'd do a little tabletop one for him and then I'll make myself a bigger one. I don't use all my ornaments on my tree and I figured that this would be a good way to show them. We will see how it comes out.

The birthday party has been postponed because of illness! DD has a flu/cold ? DGD #2 had a run to the ER she was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy. We will try to do the dinner with family next week. Cassandra was too cute wearing her new birthday dress this morning.
Mamma hope you go to the church where you feel comfortable. Remember...strangers are only friends you haven't met!

It is still YUCKY here. Chilly & raining still I'll be eating my lunch soon I have a leftover stuffed pepper to eat.
Grammy Sorry to hear some of your family is under the weather Good idea to postpone the party till next week. I'm still working in the apartment, but slowing down. I feel tired today & sinuses are bad today. Washed the couch cover. Tinker is sleeping on my love seat so that will get done another day.

I did it, I went to try a new church. The parking lot was found the first try, but not easy. When I got out of the car I had no idea where to do. But I asked a couple that had just gotten out of their car and they said to follow them. They were very kind and welcoming. And asked if I wanted to sit with them. Thankfully they sat in the far back. There were just too many people so I was not comfortable. I don't do crowds. It was a joy to be able to actually sing praises and not just try and mouth the words. The pastor was very friendly and very loud. I was not impressed with how he delivered the message but will give it another week or two. By the time the birds come I'll be back to on line. I really really don't like being with a lot of people. With only one exit to leave the parking lot it was not fun trying to leave. Not sure that would be legal in MN. But AZ doesn't live by rules or follow much of any.
Lunch is done and now what will I do. I've lost my mood to sew. It could possibly come back to me though. LOL
Welcome back Wanda. Like it or not??? Thanks for the update on Christmas coming, I'll pass this year. And thank you for the card. That was very thoughtful. Congrats on the new Great Grand-baby!! I'm sure you are super excited to hold the wee one.
The next few days summer is telling us down here, that it's not quite ready to leave.  At least the evenings will still be cooler.
Time to check on Jill. I've not heard from her yet.

Good afternoon, it's a beautiful day. The church picnic was good, a lot of visitors and the weather couldn't have been better. I came home and took a nap. It was over an hour, way too long. I hope I sleep well tonight. LOL
Thanks for the kind words concerning Kayli. I didn't tell in to the GN so you didn't miss it. It was my fault. :-(
CJ I still have one hummer, a female. She's at the feeder a lot, (fight 3 bees) so I have a feeling she'll be heading south in a week or less. Make the most of the swing time, it isn't going to last long now.
GRAMMY I relate to what you said about choosing clothes for this time of year. I don't like to change clothes either so it eeny, meeny, miney moe most of the time. LOL So sorry for the illness in the family. I know of 2 people that with covid here. Will they reschedule the party?
MAMMA Churches are so different and people have all kinds of preferences. I hope you find the one you are comfortable in. Kayli was intimidated by the larger dogs but wanted to be friends with the smaller ones we met when walking. OOPS, you came in the door....I admire your determination to find a church and for the couple who welcomed you. You'll find the right one some of these days.
LAURIE I hope you've had an enjoyable day doing what you want. You're always helping others, relax and enjoy you today!
GREENBACK I'm glad you got your bowl back. Will you refill it for the next funeral dinner. I try to buy the aluminum containers so I don't have to worry about getting it back home. I've forgot my crockpot several times so I decided to go with the aluminum pans.
JUSTME Congratulations on the birth of Elyah Shae!! There was 2 new borns in church today, they stayed for the picnic and I got to hold the 1 month old. It's been a very long time since I've held a newborn. He cried when I took him. :-( Thanks for the count-down to Christmas reminder. LOL Actually, I did tell my DD's it's time to start thinking about making a list. Good to have you here today...I miss you!
ICOOK I don't blame you for staying in your housecoat especially since the weather is not pleasant. Enjoy the stuffed pepper! I'm having sweetcorn for supper. Not sure what the rest of the menu will be....

Good Afternoon....
After much contemplation, I decided supper would be BLT's on Naan bread, an ear of corn for each and some tater tots (for DH).
The weather is just beautiful here today. Nice cool breeze and sunny blue skies. The leaves are starting to turn. One of my front yard trees is turning red and also loosing it's leaves. It will soon be time to start raking.
I did get some swing time in and will get a little more after supper. It's getting dark earlier now...so not as much time out there in the evening.
Greenback...oh the puppies and dogs were so cute and the kittens so soft and cuddly. There was one 12 yr old dog, so pretty with a reddish fur. She is a terrier/herding dog mix. I could just tell she wants a home so bad. DH worried about her all night hoping that someone adopted her. Quite a few of the dogs were a pitbull mix. Even if they are a gentle dog, they just look like they could be mean. We didn't come home with any extra pets...at least, this time...LOL
