It's chilly out this morning, but it'll warm up this afternoon. Put capris on for now Shorts this afternoon. Phone rang at 9 AM this morning. Scammer already Can't leave you alone on weekends. I'll be busy today Another eggplant I think this will be my last one. Have zucchini to cook too.

Good morning.
Not quite as cool this morning but still a welcome change from earlier this week. There is a little touch of sticky out there too, but nothing to complain about.
Last night I couldn't fall asleep again. So i got up and put earplugs in. I fell asleep almost right away and slept much better. The heat pump/ac is just outside my bedroom window and the noise will wake me up every time it starts. The plugs don't block out the noise completely but enough to let me sleep. I just had to get some much needed sleep. My bladder woke me up at 6:45, so I didn't sleep much later, but I slept better. Sleeping with noise is just something I can't do well. I need quiet and darkness.
Jill and I are going to Bath and Body some time today. She likes their "plug in" air fresheners and they are on sale. I don't need anything but like to look around and enjoy some of the scents. I had one of their "plug In" things once and the scent didn't last very long at all. I won't waste my money on it again. The foaming pump hand soap I really like, but I have a very good supply of that yet. So I guess you could say I'm just going along for the ride. LOL It will be fun.
After this weekend, the long range forecast shows we are done with the 100's. I love these cooler mornings too.

Good morning!! It is a nice fall feeling kind of morning. It's still cool but it's going to be into the 70's again today. Perfect fall weather IMO. Yesterday I got my cleaning done! Last night I went to Encounter at our church. We had a house full of ladies. The parking lot was full and people were looking for seats. I got there early and so glad I did. Today I need to do a load of laundry and last night, my phone decided to not work. I couldn't call, receive calls or texts. I hate that. Today, it's working. I don't want to get a new phone, it's usually a hassle and I like what I have. Waaaa!! Such a huge problem :-( Shame on me! I'm thinking of Grammy, and agree this is not really a problem, it's a want...although I do need a phone. I think I'll wait to see if this phone acts up again or not then make a decision.
ICOOK Are you on the DNC list for spammers? I know I registered several years ago but some how they still get our numbers. Was Tinker ready to get up? I see you dusting today, right?
MAMMA Maybe you found part of the solution for not being able to sleep well. I hope the hearing plugs help from now on. It's funny how we can/do hear noised through the night and they seem so loud. Enjoy your time at Bath & Body Works. I like their foaming soaps and also their wall flowers. Usually the wall flowers last about a month. Enjoy being with your friend and shopping/looking around.

Good Morning Ladies - - - It's raining, it's raining!!! I still hear thunder, but the rain in not so much already - I sure hope it's not done yet, as that's not nearly enough for what we so badly need. It could rain all day - the computer is saying 61 and heavy rain, so must be more to come!
Not much for news here yet. Yesterday I made a hot dish that reminds me of my mom! This is one she made, and she didn't do a lot of them - I guess hot dishes weren't so popular then either, it was a meat and potato kind of diet - living on a farm, you ate what you had and what you grew. I still have one serving of the potato soup left too.
Nothing planned for the day - just listen to it rain, hopefully all day.
IC, enjoy the last of your fresh veggies.
Mamma, glad you found a solution for the noise. I like Bath & Body stuff.. I need to change my wallflower out, as it's empty. I don't like the foaming soaps as well as the deep clean, AB, ones. I sure do like not having bar soap! I use their lotion and body wash too - and I love giving it for gifts, as everyone seems to like it and it doesn't last for ever - - - In like you have to dust it!! LOL
Ellie, nice you had such a good turn out at church last night. Hope your phone continues to work for you now.

Elle, that is what happened to me while I was gone, my phone quit.
I have a I phone and I have a setting that does not allow scam calls to come through. It will say silenced call.
it is Fallish here too. Leaves are falling.

Mamma, I am thinking about getting the kids next door one of the robot vacuums for Christmas. You seem to enjoy yours.

Good morning grannies it's a beautiful day here as we get ready to let Fall come in. Sunshine and temp was a chilly 45* this morning going to low 70s this afternoon. I do have a few Fall decorations out and it's time to get busy with a few more things before time to get them put away and get out the Christmas things. You-hoo! Justme is your shopping done?
DGD and Chef have friends here from KY they arrived last night and will be here tonight. My cleaning lady didn't show up this morning so I had to do a few things. She was probably playing with the 3 visiting kids and will say she forgot and others never thought about reminding her&^%$ that she was to come here Sat morning unless arranged with me to do otherwise. This doesn't teach her to remember her responsibilities. I did a little touch up so want allow her to make up the time. I fond out that vacuuming is not an easy job now!!
IC coffee must be all gone. I couldn't find any! I just dress for the cooler days since I spend more time in here where it seldom gets above 70
Mamma enjoy the nice weather and glad the ear plugs help you sleep. The trip to Bath and Body will be a nice time to browse. I received a cinnamon bun liquid soap and loved the scent but I just by my hand soap at the $Tree it gets my hands clean, smells good and low cost.
Elle that sounds like a super good response to your ladies night and fun too. We do have a big problem with out needs and wants!! Needs a a very small part of our purchases it's those wants that break the budget!
Greenback when I was growing up most of our food was grow it and eat it! Mom's recipes are sometimes the best ones.
time to find some lunch!

Good Afternoon....
It's a nice fall day here. My mums are in full color and looking so pretty. These are the garden mums that don't always come back if you plant them, but I had good luck and they did. I need to get a couple pumpkins to set out with them. I'm ready for cider and donuts now. LOL
The ice maker in my freezer quit working. How can I have my ice tea without ice?? LOL DH will do some investigating and see if it's something he can fix or order a part.
Had a fun day with the kids, yesterday. Teddy is talking more and more.
Carolyn...probably go into your settings by clicking on your name. There is most likely a place to change your password. Not sure though.

Well, that was a disappointment - the rain was over almost as soon as it started and it has lightened up again too, but the computer is still saying heavy rain.... Guess we can only hope for more.
Carolyn, isn't it frustrating when things have to be so difficult? Hope you get it solved and looks like CJ has some good help for you.
Grammy, I love how your cleaning sessions with Kathy are about so much more than cleaning. She is such a lucky little gal to have you in her life.
CJ, always fun to see what the kids come up with as they expand there vocabulary. With Penny talking o Teddy all the time, I'm sure he picks up lots of things quicker than if he was an only child or the first one. I love the fall mums-so pretty and cider donuts can't be beat, especially if you can get them when they are warm.
I've had my shower and washed my hair - now I'm all ready for the nothing kind of day!!! LOL

In ALDI'S ad this week, they now have apple cider donuts. I haven't had any but since some mentioned them, I thought they might want to know to know. I do think I will get some when I shop there again.

I've been busy all day I never finish dusting in one day. I have zucchini cooking & fried the eggplant. I do think this will be the last for the fresh veggies I did enjoy them all summer.
Elle I'm on the do not call list but it's not doing any good being on it. Usually weekends are quiet. Tinker was still on my bed when I got up. Today is dusting day & tomorrow dry swiff the floors for dust.
Grammy It get chilly at night here too. Usually in the upper 50's A few night upper 40's Got longer nightgowns out to wear
Mamma I wake up a few times during the night & always go potty that I'm awake.
