Good morning everyone and TGIF! It looks like a beautiful morning out there. My company arrived last night about 10:30, I thought they were coming in tonight, so I accepted a work day. Oh well, I get them til Sunday, we'll have fun! I stopped in the office yesterday to double check where I'd be today-I was to be in K Tues and Wed and music on Thurs and Fri. That switched to K yesterday and now I am in Pre-K today. There is such a sub shortage, but I am not going to work every day, that wasn't. the. plan. I guess we are going to plan our trip tonight, I need to expedite my passport too. DIL is starting to show a bit, she looks good and said she is feeling good too. Mrs. Brown Kravitz has to go to the vet on Monday. The other were outside with me when I was trying to clean up the rock wall last night, I have about 1/2 of the one side to finish yet. I hope that it's cool enough out that the garter snake that was out there stays in it's little garter snake abode-far away from me, ugh, snakes..... I made coffee, it's an Aldi's dark one-Midnight something. It's pretty good. Have a great day, blessed be.

It's sunny and cool but going to start a warm up today for a few days before rain comes in next week.
Penny & Teddy will be here in a bit.
Lauriet....I see you are as busy as ever. What trip will you be planning? Not sure I saw where you are going. How exciting to watch DDIL grow with the baby. Will they find out what they are having? Enjoy your weekend with your guests.
The spiders are really busy around here. I have a couple that keep trying to come inside. I check the door sill every morning and find one hiding in the corner waiting for it's chance. I keep pushing it back out with a big stick..LOL Sorry, but I don't do spiders!
I picked a bunch of tomatoes yesterday afternoon and made spaghetti sauce. It sure tasted good on our pasta last night. I'll freeze what's left. I'll pick some more this weekend and make more for the freezer.

Goodmorning grannie, a chilly morning with the temp at 46! The sun is shining brightly and the temp will be in the low 70s to make a nice day to be outside.
Laurie, passport, and planning a trip, where and when are you going? Yes, it's time to spend less time working and more time doing things you want to do. All too soon the the time comes when you can't do those things, enjoy them now!
CJ how I miss those tomatoes from the garden! Missing some other things too as our garden was a wash out.
Yesterday was not a good day for me! I went out to do some weeding and couldn't do much at all. It looks like the flowers are something else I'll have to give. DGD is doing more and more of the work. she now has 4 doz tulip bulbs to plant! I don't want to be a miserable one to complain about things when I still have so much to be thankful for. I frequently see much younger people with severe handicaps and hope I can focus more on what I can do. I'm grateful that I can still take care of myself and do the things I can still do. I am in need of prayers that I can accept the changes in my life gracefully and gratefully.

Good morning
It's a beautiful morning. When Mandy and I went out it was a cool 71ยบ with sunshine and no wind. She enjoyed sniffing and walking around the pet area without mamma telling her to hurry up. hehehe
Now the sheets are in the washer and if I didn't care about taxing my arms I would hang them on the lines. But so far my arms don't hurt and I know that putting on the fitted sheet will change that. So why add fuel to the fire.
Grammy, I do understand about not being able to do what we used to do and with much more speed. It's really hard to accept the changes in our bodies. I too am thankful for what I can still do because so many are much worse off than I. You at least have family to help and I am thankful that you do. I have to pay for almost everything. But thankful that the Lord provides what I need.
The doors and windows are open for now. And I even put a rug on the porch for Mandy. But the silly goose is on her bed in the living room. Not sure why she is inside when I know she enjoys being on the porch. I have a reusable furnace filter to hose off, maybe she will come out if I go outside. I might even sit out there for a bit too. The bed can wait to be remade.
Laurie, as Grammy said, don't work you life away, enjoy it while you can.

Good Morning Ladies - - - it's 70 now but then it's also 11:15 - I have the front door open for the light, but I have the glass pulled up - I will open the patio door a little later when the sun gets around that way. I had a phone call from one of the coffee gals this morning, and after we talked about an item I asked her about when she was here for coffee, she said they would be going down town for coffee on Tue. if I felt up to coming. It means so much to know they are still trying to include me, especially since I am no longer in the neighborhood.
Laurie, your trip sounds like a big one if you need your passport. I agree with the rest - go now while your body is still willing - - All to soon, it can make a change on you. Enjoy your company and how fun to have the new baby to think about.
CJ, I'm sure your home is a buzz of activity now that the kids are there. Gotta love those little buggers - - what a difference they make in our lives.
Grammy, like you, I like to focus on what I can do and not what I can't do, but like Mamma, I also need to pay for most of the things that I can not do. I guess that is why we save in our working years. Hope DGD's finger is healing nicely.
Mamma, 71 must feel really chilly out - nice to have some of that kind of weather, even for a little in the morning - yes, go out and enjoy, the bedding will wait but the cool morning will not.
My porch friend called last night about 5:30 - - She had just gotten back to her sisters after her gallbladder surgery. She didn't to be at the hospital until 10, so you know they didn't keep her long afterwards. She was still graggy sounding and she and her DD were going to stay with the sister last night.

It's sunny and 70*. Beautiful day buy we will be warming up in a few days. I could enjoy this for a loooooong time. LOL Tonight we have a Womens Encounter at church. It starts at 6:00-9:00 Food is served from 5:15-6:00. We have over 170 registered to attend and that's a lot for our church. Many are coming from other churches....it should be a great evening. I made a run to Menards this a.m. I wanted some of the Lloyd's ribs and some weed killer. I'll send in my rebate! I cleaned the back part of the house and after the clothes are folded I might finish the kitchen and living room. We'll see how much energy and "want to" I have. LOL
LAURIE It's so exciting to plan for a trip. Do you have a particular place,country in mind?
CJ I just finished my washing the dishes but when I got to the sink, the rinsing side of the sink had a good sized spider in it. I hope the spider likes hot, hot water because that's what happened to him as soon as I saw it. LOL Have fun with Penny and Teddy.

GREENBACK Those co-workers/friends choose to invite you because you're someone they enjoy being with. That says a lot about you. I know you enjoy their company...nothing like some good, long time (not necessarily old) friends.
CAROLYN It's very disturbing when the computers and electronics don't cooperate with us. I was having problems last week trying to get in the neighborhood. I just kept trying and after a while, it finally let me in.
Time to get the clothes folded and put away.

I didn't get up till almost 10 this morning. Tinker stayed on my bed till the door bell rang It was my Meals On Wheels delivery It was very chilly this morning. Had to put capris on. Warmed up now so I'm wearing shorts. I washed a rug & hung it outside. I'll be washing my afghan, blankets, bedspread, couch & love seat cover & bathroom rugs. That will keep me busy for a day or two.
Elle It definitely feels like fall. I got warmer nightgown out last night. It's time for that.
Grammy I'm like you & Jane Can't do what I used to do anymore. Our bodies won't let us. I am grateful for what I still can do. I can live the way I am now as long as I can still get around & do some things.
Mamma My doors & windows will be open as long as it's nice out.
