Good morning. Wow, a whole lot less humidity, it's more normal this morning. Temp is at 81, no breeze or humidity. Love it. Maybe this morning I can clean off the porch and not just sweep the floor.
The guys cut down the dead tree that was shading the pet area. Now there is no place to avoid the sun. Maybe they will put up a canopy of sorts. LOL I can dream.
Yesterday around noon the dew point dropped so I headed out and got my nails done. By the time I got home it was on the rise again and the rest of the day and evening was miserable.
IC, I clean more than once a week. Always have. Back in MN I did a light cleaning on Wednesday and did a thorough job on Saturday. Down here it is more often due to the desert winds.
Poor Mandy forgot that the stool is no longer at the foot of the bed but on the side of the bed. She fell off the end of the bed this morning and it knocked the wind out of her. She was in a daze for a couple minutes. She got up on the bed using the stool but not to get down. She thought I was getting up and jumped onto the bed, then realized I was not getting up yet. So there was no light. But as soon as I heard a thud and a little yip, I jumped up and turned on the light. I felt so badly for her. I think she hurt her foot cuz she keeps liking it, no limping though. And she still ran around in the pet area. Tough little cookie.
Coffee is done, time to clean the porch.....

Yesterday I went to the store, rode with my son when he went out. Tomorrow I will try to get a few more things when I go to get my haircut, I got the most important and that is onions. I eat a lot of onions. So wishing all of you a wonderful day. Be back later Oh yeah my oldest GREAT grandchild Emma Grace is 18 today. She has been accepted to a college in Greenville, SC. She is planning to be a pediatrician. They are making me old...... Going to fold clothes. 🌹

Good morning, a beautiful morning, temp in the 60's and going to the low 70's. My kind of weather and it's nice and sunny too. Yesterday was prayer meeting day then I went to the viewing of one of our church members. She was 90+ yrs. old. Her DH is in the nursing home with Alzheimer's. They brought him to see her but aren't sure if he really comprehends what has happened. It's coffee day and several won't be there as they're helping in the kitchen work for the funeral this a.m.
ICOOK I feel lazy every day. LOL I won't get any cleaning done today and tomorrow is a full day for me so probably it won't get done tomorrow either. Oh well, so be it! LOL Enjoy your cool weather.
MAMMA I'm sure you'll be busy with the porch. Remember the saying, "A man's work from sun to sun, a woman's work is never done." LOL Mom would say that a lot. LOL Poor Mandy, I hope she's ok. We hurt when our babes hurt!
CAROLYN Happy birthday to Emma Grace!! I love that name! I'm 80 yrs. old and not DGGC. I'm still waiting. LOL Your son is so good to you. It's nice he lives near and can help you when needed.

Good Morning Ladies - - - It's a chilly start to the day - only 56 now at 10:15, and I'm thinking I should either get more clothes on or shut the window. Maybe I should just move to my chair and get under the blanket. I do have clothes sitting in the dryer than need to be put away - nothing much of importance in that load. I had a busy full day yesterday - - First I went to the funeral, and I left that at the last song, so I could get out before the family came out, and went on my way to the dental appointment. The funeral was really short so I could have stayed for all of it. I stopped for gas partway to my appt. and got bread and banana's. I still ended up being early, when I thought I was going to have to hurry to get there. It was 2:45 when I got home again, and I had 2 messages from gals I use to work with, and we had been talking about going to an appreciation supper put on by the bank that bought us out. I was either 130 0r 135 years that they were celebrating. First I said I wasn't going to go, as I didn't think it would be any place for me to be walking if the parking was a way's away. She said she would drop me off at the door and pick me up again there, so I went. I'm really glad that I did - it was so much fun to see so many people that I don't see very often or in some cases, since I retired. It was a lot of fun. They served either a hamburger or pulled pork sandwich, hash browns, fresh fruit and soft serve ice cream. As we came in, you could get a small plastic pitcher or they said you can get it on your way out.. we deceided to wait and when we left they must have given all of those away and were giving those nice fleece blankets that are rolled up and perfect to keep in the car. I was home about 7, we had went early at 4:30, as the one gal that had to drive into town, doesn't drive after dark. Anyway, I was tired when I went to bed, but it was a good tired. It was nice to get out of the house and do something. Today I had a haircut this afternoon,, but I just called and changed it until next week - - Last time she shicked me really short, and I have my class reunion on Sunday, and I didn't want to looking like a skinned rabbit. So I think I will read the paper and maybe snooze a little for the afternoon! IC, I'm sure you will be happy to enjoy that fresh air again. How was the soup from Mrs. Clause? Mamma, I know you are happy to get the porch cleaned up - hope you have some of the right kind of weather to enjoy being out there again. Sounds like you times your outing just right for the weather yesterday. Carolyn, I know you are enjoying your visits from the little guy - amazing how those kids grow up so fast - The days may be long, but the years go by quickly - Happy Birthday to Emma Grace.

It was Bible Study this morning not much after that. Just home to have some lunch. I sat down with Kindle and woke up an hour later! I don't know why I was so tired.
Those chilly mornings have arrived it's only in the 60s now. The leaves are starting to take on some color already!
IC I don't do much cleaning just some everyday thing mostly it's pick up and put away things.
Mamma I'm not a Mrs Clean nor have I ever been, Clean when I need to or when there was time. Just tried to stay ahead of the board of health. If they came to inspect I wouldn't get shut down! No dirty places but there might be some visible dust or something that didn't get put away. Poor Mandy hope she is OK.
Carolyn we use a lot of onions too!
Greenback you did have a busy day! Wish I could be busy doing something. My youngest dgc is in his mid 30s!
Time to get back to the kindle
