Good Morning...
It's a sunny, cool day. Yesterday was very dreary and cold.
It's been a very busy week with having the grandkids Tues, Wed and Friday and on Thursday I had my friends over. So It seems I just haven't been able to get here like I would like. Next week Mon-Wed DH and I are going up north in the UP of Michigan for a little get away. We will be heading over to the Soo Locks. We have always enjoyed watching the ships go through the locks and, also, enjoy a whitefish dinner. The weather isn't looking very good, but we will still enjoy getting away.
The mornings are dark and the evenings are short now. I don't like the early darkness in the evening. My swing keeps calling to me...LOL
My moms birthday was Wed and I still haven't had a chance to go see her and celebrate. Hopefully next week after we get back from our trip.

Good morning.
It's back to the hot and ugly muggy again. I'm happy that Mandy was quick this morning. I was sweating bullets standing still. And it's not even that hot out there, YET. This weekend the a/c will be turned down further than normal, I'm not going to be uncomfortable this time around.
Yesterday I worked on my Christmas cards and list and then the tears started flowing. That was the end of the card making. Early to bed to just hide.
Last night I tried sleeping with the Himalayan salt night light on. Nope too much light for me. So I won't be getting the benefits from it as I had hoped for. But having it on all day should help anyway. I do love the pretty glow that it gives. And some day I would like to get a light for the craft room too. The air quality here is not the best. And I have no sunny windows for plants to flourish.
Today I need to do some better cleaning around the edges where Annie can't get to. I've got wall to wall stuff in this little place so it's hard for Annie to get to all the places. Some times she gets confused and stuck. It's almost comical watching her try and get out.
CJ, yep, those wee ones do take up a lot of your time. Nice that you enjoy having them. Your get away sounds very nice, enjoy.
Jane, I love tomato slices with sugar on them too. Mmmmm
I wish we closer I would gladly buy your card stuff that you don't use anymore.
Debbie, no I don't do punches at all. Just stamp, die cuts and Cricut.
IC, Mandy won't sleep on the bed, she prefers one of her three beds. She didn't even sleep on the bed with Mark. It's not that she isn't allowed, she just likes having "her own" space, a place to call her own.
Time for a coffee refill. It's Keurig coffee this morning, with CJ's doughnut holes.

Good Morning Ladies - - - It's 62 and mostly sunny, jut chilly sitting here in front of the window with my nightgown on. Maybe that will motivate me to get in the shower sooner. The window is only open about an inch, and still I am chilly. Nothing planned here today or the weekend. I am not planning to go to church tomorrow either as it is the annual service in the park, and I am not comfortable going on the grass, even though I know there would be someone around to help if I needed, but I just don't want to take the chance to see if I would need the help on the grass. Then it would be a golf cart ride to the shelter for a pot luck brunch - and I don't have anything to bring to that either.
CJ I know your little get away will be a nice time and I hope the weather will give you some nice sunshine too! I'm sure your Mom understands that you have been busy.
Mamma, you most likely wouldn't have room for all of my stamp stuff - I have oodles of stamps and soma paper too. I have the embossing powders, some die cuts and punches and who knows what all. I'm sure the markers and some of the other stuff are all dried up.

Hi everyone,
It is nice and cool and I have my door open.
Had breakfast and took a shower and did a
load of laundry.
I started a afghan before I left so that will
serve as my project to do right now.
Please remember my sister when you pray.
She is in lots of pain. They moved her to a
rehab.
Jane I feel the same as you walking on grass.
It is so scary to think of falling.

Good morning, I think some of you stole my sunshine because there's none here. Just cloudy in 65* and going to the mid 70's. No a/c or furnace either. LOL I finished my cleaning yesterday so I don't need to do much of that today. I do need to do laundry and go to the store again. A lady from my church passed away and her funeral is Wednesday. I'll be taking cherry delight for the dinner that follows the service. There's a couple more people in my church who aren't well now either. One is in hospice. I had company yesterday and that was nice, the kid's didn't come so I might hear from them today.
CJ A nice get-away will be a nice relief from the stress and care you've been going through. I hope the weather and everything about it will be perfect for you. Thanks for the donuts, I'll take the one with peanuts and maple frosting. LOL
MAMMA Oh-oh! I sense you are really serious about your card making and I hope you and greenback can find a happy medium for you. Kayli never wanted to sleep on the bed either. She also preferred her own space.
GREENBACK It seems the cooler weather has come so fast this year. But then we aren't happy with all the heat either. LOL I think you're being wise in doing all you can to watch that you don't fall. I hope you and Mamma can find an agreement for the craft items.
CAROLYN Welcome home! I know you enjoyed seeing that special little guy again. I'm still waiting to become a GGM. I throw hints but the married one isn't ready yet and that's ok. LOL Praying for your sister and I truly hope her pain will be diminished and gone.
Time to get doing something.

Goodmorning grannies, It's a chilly 61* this morning and staying in the low 70s with a little sunshine now and then. Feels like Fall is at the door.
CJ the get away sounds great. Hope you have a good and relaxing time.
Mamma you are a crafty one! That's a lot of work that I no longer do. Just to share a little craft thing that's useful and cute...I used to decorate stationary using paper punches those little round dots punched from different colors of construction paper will make cute things. Flowers,apples....bet you can think of lots of things.
Greenback I share your fear of falling! I've only had one fall and was fortunate to only get some bruising. I can't get up so had to get some help. I'm extra cautious now and I don't like to walk in the grass either! I use a cane when I go outside and try to stay upright! I'm also not so reluctant to let someone help me. I often said no thanks, I have remembered the help is twice blessed those who receive the help and those who help. I realized that I was depriving both of us from being blessed!
The cleaning girl has been here this morning so things look better again. There are a few things I don't want her to do like cleaning the wash basin in the bathroom. She loves sensory things so she would be playing with the water and sponge for a long time! It usually takes her a long time to wash her hands , she likes the liquid soap.
Seems like a good afternoon to spend some time with Kindle and my blankie.

It's the weekend so I'll be busy I never get all the dusting done in one day. Frying another eggplant today. Won't be long & no more fresh veggies. I'm making zucchini batter for patties. Didn't eat yet today I'll make some scrambled eggs with toast soon.
Carolyn I'll gladly say prayers for your sister.
CJ Enjoy your get away I don't like the shorter days either. Almost dark by 7:30 Tinker & I can't sit out as long at night time anymore. Hate when winter comes & it's dark by 4:30 
Elle AC is still on here till next week Going to be humid till Wednesday Then the temps. drop big time. Only in the low 70's Fall is almost here.
Grammy It's not chilly here yet. The end of next week will be chilly here.
Jane I can't walk on grass either You & Grammy know what's it's like not being able to walk like we used to.
Mamma I like week ends except for the cleaning.

Hello, kind of a quiet day here. #2 left early to go to his house and the Yeti took off earlier than that to go to a retirement party for one of his friends. I didn't go as the dogs need a watcher. The cookies are all packaged to go to the bake sale at the church tomorrow. I'll leave a bit earlier to go up, drop that stuff off and then go get Al to go to the dinner. I talked to my brother about going to the one next weekend at the other church in their tri-parish as I'll have company next weekend. Due to the lack of motivation, I guess I'll be a bum ere today.
