Good morning, it looks to be a pretty day out. We got some much needed rain yesterday and last night. I looked back at my last post, dang it was negative, sorry about that. #1 will be here later today, DIL has a dr appt and he'll come up after that. My aunt has tomatoes and apples for me, I'll go get those later today too. I think I'll just stew and can the tomatoes and make apple jelly. There's coffee, help yourselves. Blessed be.

It's going to be another hot day Calling for humid weather thru the weekend. Not planning on doing anything today.

Good morning and what a beautiful morning it is outside. It was 71 when I got up today at 6:50. No breeze and no humidity.
To start I have a load of clothes in the washer while I have my first cup of coffee, Mandy has been out and back. The car and the golf cart are so filthy. If I don't wash them Mark may come and haunt me. It's been to hot and humid to do any outside work but now I have no excuse but laziness. I have to admit I was embarrassed taking the car to the store the other day.
So anyway, y'all know what I'll be doing this morning. This afternoon is anyones guess, even mine.

Goodmorning grannies, it's a beautiful day just few puffy clouds and the temp at 82* already! Lower humidity to make a little more comfortable.
It's hair cut time for me then to the Lab. for a blood draw. I think it has to do with the meds I take?? DSIL will be driving, I think I might take him to lunch everyone one else is gone.
I do hope the stylist understands that I don't want an extra short hair cut. Some really get scissor happy and keep cutting. I would rather have more hair and have it cut more often.
Laurie it's always a good day when mom gets to see one of her kids! Our tomatoes were among the wash out things just too wet and too cold for them and dgd had planted lots of them.
Time to get ready to leave

Good Morning Ladies - - - Morning is slipping away fast - I opened up again this morning so am not feeling quite so confined. The computer is saying 69 but the air is really damp.
I'm sorry I didn't make it yesterday - after the gals left, I was really tired so I headed to my chair and put the ice pack on my knees and even snoozed for a short time. One of them brought me 4 tomatoes so had one of those last night. They are so refreshing. My legs are about the same - not nearly as strong as I would like and the left knee and the right foot still hurt. The foot seems to be more swollen that at first. I have been taking my water pills to get the swelling down, but doesn't seem to help much.
Laurie, some days our glasses are half full and other days, half empty - - Not every day is a good day, and when it's not, we are here for you to vent - We all help each other out with that, and then we are good with those around us every day! No need to be sorry!! Enjoy your visit with # 1.
IC, good idea to take it easy with the humidity.
Mamma, goodness you were up early girl! Maybe a little snooze this afternoon. It's hard to find motatvation on hot & Humid days.
Grammy, hope you get a good cut - my gals gets to talking sometimes, and the faster she talks, the faster she cuts. She's in KY. on her trike this week.. so I have to wait, but she got it to short last time, so that's okay. Enjoy lunch!

Temps are down here but still have some humidity. It was coffee day and someone said we're supposed to be only in the 60's next week. I'm not ready to use the furnace yet. LOL Tomorrow is game day. I also need/want to get some cleaning done and bake a dessert. We'll see how much I actually do. LOL

This morning I over did it again. But the golf cart and the car looks so nice and clean now. Oh, dear, they were so very dirty from all the wind and rain storms. The inside of the car needs cleaning but that will have to wait until tomorrow. My arms can't do anymore. The cart charged well and the charger stopped when needed so that was good too. After a brief rest I made a run to WM just to get out of the house and walk around. Sometimes I just like to go by myself, and it felt good, the walk felt even better. Not many people to set off my anxiety. Just enjoyable, but I forgot to pick up some milk. I did, however remember to put gas in the car first. Better functioning brain this morning. LOL
It may be 100º but it doesn't feel like it with the low dew point and humidity. There is just a little bit of a breeze too. Mandy and I didn't hurry outside this morning or this afternoon. I let her enjoy the outdoors while I washed the vehicles too. She loves laying on a rug on the porch.
The leftover sloppy joe is packaged up into meals for another time. The potato salad has enough left for supper tonight or lunch tomorrow, or maybe toss tomorrow. All depends on what I decide to make to eat. Right now I'm not hungry.
Back to the recliner with my water and a light snack.

It's actually a chilly day, after so many hot ones. It was nice to open up, but now I'm shivering. It is 66 but so damp - I was in my chair with the blanket, not I came in here to the open windows, and shut the one by me some - just have it open an inch. Guess I better shut the other window some too and will close the patio door.
I have enough pulled pork for a sandwich and will slice another tomato and I think I will fry a couple of the baby potatoes.
I did a load of table clothes and towels, but that's about all that got done here. I spent the afternoon reading the paper and icing my knees.
