Good Morning...
It's a very nice pleasant day. Started out a little cool, but is quickly warming up. I was able to enjoy my coffee on the swing.
Tomorrow starts the big warm up for most of next week...could be in the 90 degree range.
I'll go check on the kitties today. Still haven't seen the one that hides all the time. But I guess he's out and about the house since I checked in the closed rooms and nothing is disturbed. I rarely see him anyway.
I think a trip to the dollar store is in order today. Have to see what fall/halloween things are out and maybe get some ideas and I need a couple birthday cards.
Not much happening yet. DH said he wasn't going walking today...so I guess I won't either. Now, how's that for an excuse? LOL
Have a great day everyone.......

Good morning! I slept in a bit and then did dog duty. I think the neighbor's dog was around as I had heard (not my dogs) barking after a swan was honking. Anyways, checked things, all good, so I let Mrs. Brown Kravitz out to wreck the grass. She came in and I did Nim and her Nugget duty, the Nugget got her PB & pill sandwich, water & food & fetch and I came in. All of the sudden, barking and whining and all. Well, Mrs. Red Kravitz performed a jail break in the time it took me to have half a cup of coffee. The yeti will get to fix that kennel panel. I guess she wanted more freedom. It is never dull here. There will be more coffee in a bit, probably decaf, as that is my preference when I'm here. BBL, blessed be.

Good morning. Mandy has been out and I'm about done with coffee for the day. It's windy, warm, but not as humid as it has been. The wind yesterday left a lot of desert dirt on the porch that I need to clean off this morning. The tile really gets slippery from the sand, almost worse than when wet. We had a few quick rain showers also, that didn't even wet the pavement. All the rain did was raise the dew point.
Out for fish dinner with Jill today, I'll have a salad though. Then come home and hopefully start on the craft projects that I have waiting for me. I've got to start doing something other than sit and watch tv and eat. It will be awhile yet before it will be nice enough for walking outside.

Good Morning Ladies. As usual, I don't have much to share. I have done nothing this week, except try to keep warm. It is ridiculous to have it this cold in the house. Daren and and I will head out when he gets off work and then Jen and Dawson will come when she's done. She thought it would take us longer as we will need gas at some point, and probably extra stop or stops. Much as I enjoy being with them, it gets boring during the day, but I can entertain myself. I am anxious to get to my house as it is muc handier for me. This is a young family's house. Hope you all have a nice weekend.

Jane, you and I are so much alike. I have froze ever since I have been here. At home, I rarely use AC. Asking prayers for 2 people. My sister who is in a wheel chair got her foot tangled in her chair and broke her leg. She is having surgery today. And my longtime friend has a bad fall and broke her back. Don't know much details as she said she would tell me about it when we talk. ( Too much sadness. Elle, I graduated 1960. I turned 80 Christmas Day. I watched some videos of the weather after the hurricane. And realized how lucky we were to Just get storms, rain n winds. Thank God. I am doing a bit of cooking. Deviled eggs, goulash and blackberry cobbler. š

Jane, I hope you are feeling more sturdy on your feet.
I imagine the snowbirds are looking forward to their milder winters too, Canada. has had a rough summer with all of the fires.
It's nice and breezy here today, 74* and almost clear skies. Questioning if I should go to walk-in, the more I use my hand the more uncomfortable it becomes. I'll give it til about noon and see how it goes from there.

Goodmorning grannies, it's still morning for a few more minutes, The family is home but it has been a little quiet this morning. Kids were tired and probably sleeping late. Cassandra had to give me a full account of the trip. She is a real chatterbox! Heard it all last night,
CJ hope the kitties are doing ok and the one is either shy or a real fraidy cat! That's a good excuse for not walking and a good one! It's his fault you didn't get the walk in this morning.
Laurie sounds like you still have a real escape artist! Hope the repairs get done. I could get envious of the house on the lake with all the birds and animal. No thank you, I will skip the cold winter!
Mamma a fish dinner would be my first choice anything that comes out of the water is on my favorite food list. What other crafts will you be doing, more things to sell or gifting?
Greenback be safe on the drive home. Time with kids is wonderful but there's no place like home and isn't your own bed a comfy place to be?
IC take it easy on the house work it's seems like there is always something to wash of dust! It never stays done very long.
Almost lunch time for me now I'll see who is stirring upstairs. The warn up is starting today it will be in the 90s by Sundsy

Laurie I'm not sure if the legs are stronger or not,but they are still very wobbly! I sure hope they will continue to do better. Grammy, it's not the bed that's the problem. It's the cold, the low toilet, and a comfortable chair, that I can get out of. My bottom is sore from sitting on the hard chairs, but I don't want to get in the comfortable one unless I know someone will be here if I can't get out on my own. Mamma, a fish dinner would be a good choice for me too! One of my favorites out. CarolynQq, sounds like a good meal you are making. Ic, enjoy your fresh produce this weekend. Cj, you are good about walking š¶ so a day off shouldn't hurt. Well, I'm off to do more nothing. I have to feed Josey when Daren calls, but that won't be for awhile and finish getting my stuff packed. I came pretty light since I didn't plan on being here this along.

Grammy, not for selling, but somethings that I lost in the fire that I really miss. I'll post a pic if I ever get it done. hehehe
Jane, I really can understand the low toilet, the hard to get out of furniture and hard chairs. Not fun at all for any length of time. Yep, youngens homes. I pray that your legs will get better soon.
Laurie, I've seen a few Northern license plates already, not Canada though. They can only stay here for 6 months so it's too early for them. I am not looking forward to the traffic or losing the solitude. I like quiet not hustle and bustle. I'm old. LOL
Well, we are not going to the fish dinner, but to Denny's for a nice salad. Then a stop at Fry's for a couple of the sale items.

Good afternoon to all. Mike just called at noon and he is on his way back to the apartment! They are actually quitting work early today and he gets to leave an hour or so earlier than the others since we are on our way to DD#1 and family's county fair! Eli and Drew got champion and reserve champion, respectively, hams at the fair and will be selling them tonight! Since they are the top two, they should bring big money from the buyers that will be there looking for a chance to get their name and/or their business name out in public doing good for the community youth. Also, Trinity competed in the Junior Princess pageant for the fair last night and got 3rd out of nine. DD sent me a video of her interview and her talent (she did a really good tap dance routine) and spoke right up, so I don't know what the top two did, but they beat our girl. Oh well, she can try again next year.
Mike has been much more like his old self the last couple of days and his appetite is coming back. Looks like this job may be over in about two weeks. I have put in a plea to the manager about getting out of our lease early, but only crickets so far.
Well, Mike just pulled up outside and I need to change and get the final things packed up to go since we won't be back here until Monday evening. Wishing all a wonderful Labor Day weekend!

Just as Jill and I were ready to leave the restaurant a dust storm come flying in. We left as soon as we could and by the time we got in front of the park entrance the visibility was not more than 25 feet. So glad I swept off the porch this morning to make room for an inch of desert dirt again. When I got home Mandy was overly excited to see me. I think she got a little scared. No rain, but in the west itās mighty dark and moving in our direction. I got Mandy out to go potty later than usual but I had to wait for a break in the dirt. I did put on my mask and covered my eyes as best I could. This is all because of a monsoonal squall going through AZ. Hopefully it will be past us around 6 or 8 tonight. I wish I had a mask or goggles for Mandy. Canāt you just see her in that garb? š She would never tolerate it either. The whole weekend doesnāt have the best weather. But the dew point is down and the temp is only 87Āŗ today. š Warmer and more humid this weekend, but the nights are coolerā¦.finally.
I did start on my one craft but now I have to wait a couple hours to for the chalk paint to dry. Then I can maybe finish it. Itās simple, which is what I like, but the first step has a dry time. And I often loose patience. Patience is not my strong suit. I lost that a long time ago.
For lunch I had soup and a grilled cheese. Supper maybe a lettuce salad or cold cereal. I am turning into Markā¦ā¦I like cold cereal for a meal.
