Hard to believe that tomorrow is Sept. 1 Summer goes by so fast.
Christina will be here soon She's giving the floors a good cleaning today I see the oral surgeon today for another check from my gum surgery Another stop AGAIN for a scrip pick up at the drug store. Christina leaves a little earlier today She has an appt at 2 Hope we have time to stop at the farm market to get more veggies.

Good Morning....
It's sunny and bright out there. The temp is in the low 50's. DH & I are getting ready to go for a walk...I'll need to put my shorts on for that as I get really warm when I start walking. Might need a sweatshirt for a bit.
Did anyone see the big moon last night? It sure was bright and big.
Icook...hope your checkup goes well.
I agree that summer just goes by too fast. I'm not ready for it to end.

I wanted to see the moon but it was stormy
and raining so I didn't even look out.
The sun is out now.
Debbie, sorry to hear your DH is not feeling well
Hope he can slow down if he wants to.
I go home on Tuesday.
Getting a little anxious for that.
We have our school reunion the end of
October. I wouldn't want to miss that.

Good morning grannies, a beautiful morning here with sunshine and puffy white clouds temp staying in the 70s again for another hint of fall.
CJ it's still long pants for me and got up to another sweatshirt day!
IC good to hear that Christina is feeling better and will be able to help you today. Veggies from the farm are good ones! Yumm!
Carolyn vacations are nice but there's no place like home!
A text from dd this morning to say they are on the way home. Must be time for me to get busy cleaning up all the party stuff! It was party, party, party all the time they were gone and I had the house to myslef!!

It's a bright sunny, cool start to the day here too. I love it! The heat will be returning in a few days, back to summer. I got some cleaning done yesterday, went to the Cabin for coffee, then home for something to eat, take a walk, chat with DD on the phone, jammy time, TV, computer games then off to bed. LOL Exciting, yes? yes!! Today I really haven't decided what I want to do. I can clean, sew, get groceries or do nothing. Eeny meeny miney moe!!! LOL
ICOOK There should be a good report from your dentist! Soon you'll have a new set of teeth!! I'm glad Christina is able to help you today.
CJ Enjoy the walk. This is the weather that brings out the winter clothes one day and summer clothes the next day. LOL It's still better than the cold, messy, snowy winter weather IMO. Are the kitty's ok?
CAROLYN How many years has it been since you graduated? I think you're about my age, I graduated in 60. It'll be fun to see the classmates again and hear how life is treating them.
GRAMMY You are a real "party animal." LOL I'm sure you'll be happy to have the kids home. I know when mine go away, I just want them home again. Maybe my insecurity!! I have one heading to Hawaii in a couple of weeks. I'm happy for them but sure will miss them too.

Good morning Ladies. It looks niceout, but very windy. I plan to go out and sit in a little bit. As with every other day this week, I have nothing to do but sit. I would like to get in their shower, but I sure would not while I am here alone and I'm not comfortable even if they are at home. I like their shower but it's tile and even before I was leary of falling, so I will make do with a sponge bath. My hair is a fright though. I will get in the shower at home before they leave. They won't be home long, as I know Daren wants to go to Jens brother to watch the game and it's an early one.
IC hope your appointment goes well and you get everything you want to do, done before Christina has to leave.
Cj, enjoy your walk. You can get warmedup while walking! I didn't get to see the moon last night.
Carolyn, make the most of your last days with the FL. family. Your time is flying by m but you have had a nice time there. I have my 60th class reunion I. September. I wasn't sure about going because of Dawson's BD, but now that he has done that with me, I only have to decide if I am strong enough to do it.
Grammy, I saw a hummingbird flying around on the deck when I opened the door for Josey to come. I don't see many at my house, and didn't attract them with flowers or a feedeer, so I gave up. I'm sure you will be happy to see the family again, even if you enjoyed your little vacation.
Ellie, sounds like you have things to fill your day. Enjoy your coffee time.

Home again home again jiggy jig. Shortly after Mandy did her thing I headed out to make some returns. One was at the WM in town. It was in and out quickly. But as long as I was there I got a new pillow. I have a hard time with pillows that's for sure. None last long and so few give the neck support that I want/need.
On the way home it got really windy but my little car was a champ and we got home safely. It's horribly humid again today but at least it won't be in the teen hundreds today. Still not fit for anyone to be outside.
Not much planned for today unless I decided to start a craft thats been on my mind. I've got the chalk paint and pint jar. Now to find the ambition to work on it. Why does it take me so long to start something I like doing? Makes no sense to me at all.
Last night I went out for a late lunch with Jill. My meal was so overcooked I just couldn't eat it. Even the fries were soggy and just luke warm. Won't go there again. Tomorrow we are going to a place that does a mean fish meal. Well, y'all know me, I won't be eating it. They do make good salads though. The fish meal draws a lot, and I mean A LOT of people, so we will be heading there quite early to get a seat. Mark loved their hand battered fish.
Now to see what I can rustle up for brunch. It won't be fish or chicken. LOL More like eggs and toast or cold cereal.

Christina got the cleaning done today She's still not feeling well. She's going to the Dr. again She gets sick to her stomach a lot We picked up my scrip & got to the farm market. I got a lot of veggies today. Cantaloupe, corn, eggplant & peppers which means I'll be cooking over the weekend.
My appt. didn't go as well as I wanted I go back in four weeks. My gum might need surgery on the one side again. Lots of $$$$$$ spent at this Dr.
CJ I saw the moon on the news last night.
Elle It's beautiful here for a few days Heat & humidity return starting Sunday AC is off for now. Doors & windows open.
Mamma I love fish. If I go to a nice restaurant that is what I usually get.

Hello all. I've been doing a lot of nothing this morning. Todd left to go fishing with his brother and his boys, since the WI trip got cancelled they figured something else, two who were going though are not now. One is an insurance adjuster and now has a lot to deal with in Georgia and the other one is a partner on a farm, so he's got plenty to do too. He was out the door by 7:30 and I watched the last couple episodes of Ted Lasso. I chose to not go in to the school-optional-to do some mandatory training as I can do it here. Also, had to do some texts about this weekend, made a choice to back out of something else and also need to take care of an email. So, there ya go. It's about 70* and breezy right now, the dogs are all good and I'd love to take a nap, I may just do that. I've a wicked headache, there's my reason why. BBL, blessed be everyone.
