Good Morning....
Another cool start....low 50's. Might get some rain this afternoon. We'll see.
The hummers sure are feisty. Chasing each other away before either can get a drink. If they could just get along, then they would all be happy..LOL
Last night went to check on DD's cats and they had a package delivered that we needed to take in. Neither cat came when we came inside. Had to do some hunting. A cleaning crew had been there earlier and somehow one of the cats got closed in a room. He was probably hiding. Good thing we went last night otherwise he would have been trapped without his food, water and litter box. Couldn't find the other one, but that's nothing new. That one always hides when someone other than his family comes in. I rarely see that cat. Sure hope he isn't trapped in a room. We checked everywhere. I might go back today just to check again.

Goodmoring grannies, it's another nice day here with sunshine, low humidity and temps reaching the low 70s again. Heat will return in a few days. Just because we have cool mornings doesn't mean that summer is gone!
CJ. yes the hummers are getting feisty the young ones are still practicing their skills! The second brood will be leaving the nest within the next couple of weeks and getting ready to head South for the winter.
Good thing you thought to check on the cat could have been messy!!
This game day so I'll be there this afternoon enjoying it all. Just a few things to do here this morning. I might attempt some sewing.Threading the needle is the hard part with the old lady tremors, s ahaky hand does make that job harder. Might as well see how it goes.

Good morning
Hot and a bit sticky this morning. This morning I saw a very odd sight in the park......a school bus. I thought maybe it took a wrong turn. But then I remembered that the maintenance guy has a young one. And this year he gets to ride the bus. 'That will make their life easier. And I noticed two snowbirds here already. One of the couples is not very well liked by anyone in the park. And then to have them come early is a rotten way to start the early season.
Another really hot day so Mandy will go out early again today and we will be inside the rest of the day. The shades get pulled down tightly and not much light other than a small lamp and the tv. No wonder I fell asleep in my chair again. Right now I'm washing the rags and then I'll take the dust mop to the floors. I highly doubt the floors will get scrubbed again today. I'm already too warm, and glistening like a diamond in the sunlight.

Good morning Ladies. It's a small beautiful day here, at least looking out, I haven't been outside since Friday night. I did ask Daren to bring the folding chair up from my car, so I could go out on the deck off of the kitchen so I could go out there and warm up. Nothing new here, just me and Josey hanging out again and once in awhile Rusty the cat comes around. I sit around at home a lot, but I do get something done once in awhile too. Here I am just a bum.
Cj you have been lucky to be getting the rain lately. I have been noticing that the days are getting shorter too. Hope you can seewhere the lost cat has been hid hiding. I'm sure the other one was happy to see you open that door.
Grammy, try to thread that needle before you go to game day and if it doesn't work m take the along and ask someone to do it for you. I'm sure they would be happy to help. You will especially enjoy game day and having someone to talk to.
Mamma, surprisingly early for the snowbirds to come back when it is still so hot. Are you full timers all in one area, and the SB in another m or are you all mixed in together? I had my blinds closed were the sun was the hottest and after awhile you start to feel like a mole! Guess it's better than sweating m doing nothing.

Jane, I never know what day it is anymore!! LOL Yes, it's early for snowbirds and none of us that live in Yuma are very happy about the early arrival. Clerks are already complaining about winter. Yes, I do go out to shop from time to time. hehehe The full time are mixed in, but all of us live in park models in the front half of the park. The back is for the RV's.

My weather is like most of you. It was 52* when I got up but it's 80* now. The humidity is low so it's a nice day. My hummers are feisty too. I have 2 pair and the male is a hog on the feeder and he won't budge! He even fights the wasps! LOL Yesterday I finally got one of the valances done. I have one more to do then I'll hang them up. This was Prayer meeting day. Our numbers were down but there was various reasons. Tomorrow is coffee at the Cabin.
CJ Poor kitty! I hope the other one is ok too. I enjoy watching the hummers. Like Grammy said, they'll soon be heading south. I hope they don't leave too early especially with the hurricane threat down there.
GRAMMY I didn't know there can be another brood of hummers. How can I tell the young ones from the adults? My mom had shaky hands too. And she initially had very good penmanship. Enjoy game day. I know you will.
JANE It does get boring not to be able to get up and do something even if it isn't much. But, I know you are enjoying time with Dawson and family. Will they come to your place for Thanksgiving and Christmas?
MAMMA I always close my blinds and the door when I nap. I don't go to my bedroom, I'm in the recliner. Does Mandy nap when you do? I hope the SB's aren't as rude this year. I think it is early for them to come.

Christina was here today YEAH  You can see it in her face that she still doesn't feel well. I told her not to overdue. She cleaned the bathroom & ran the sweeper. She went to pick up my script. & get a few things at the store for me. After she left didn't Rite Aid call to pick up another script. I hate when that happens. We'll go on Thursday Rite Aid is transferring scripts that are left to Walgreen's.
Elle It's still humid here My AC is still working.
Grammy I'm not a sewer. I can sew on a button, but have a hard time threading it like you. Christina can sew. She's fixed a few things for me.

All is well here,
We went to Naples Monday and
came back today,
Drove through some very hard rain.
Iit's raining now. I am on the back
porch listening to it, I love rain,
Time to go home is approaching quick.
Tues the 5th. I will go home.
If the planes are flying ✈️✈️
I bought a new phone. Mine was on its last legs.
Hope all of you are doing well.
Jane I am the same here. I do the dishes though
made them stop trying to get me not to.

Hello, home from my morning of Mahjong, have the juicer/steamer going and cooking down some plums. I had to return a phone call to the school, it looks like I'll be able to work as much as I want, I have dates now til in Jan. I am guessing they told people if they know that they are going to be gone to get it on the books now or they may not have subs. I got some clothes on the line before I left and the Yeti is out on parent duty w/ his folks, I don't know when they'll be home, but I know he wants to mow when he gets back as he goes on his fishing trip on Thursday and wants it done. before that. Plenty to do, little motivation, just need to find some. BBL.

Good afternoon.
All I've done so far is dust mop the floors a little bit and then watched an older movie. Now I really should get to work on some cards that are needed. But I"m not feeling it just yet. It's a mood thing. And lately I have one mood and that's laziness.
Elle, Mandy sleeps almost all day long. Nothing for her to do but sleep. She never really gets into her toys. She does have a favorite raccoon. Come winter she will be on the porch watching all the activity and I hope to get out and walk with her too.
I wonder if we will break a record temperature again today. It's getting darn close. And I just learned that tomorrow won't be a whole lot better. I'll never get out of the house, unless it's dark, at this rate.

We'll, it's 5 and I turned the news on. Very little of that here. I did go outside a couple of times today ând th!t was nice, but a after I ran out of shade, I had to come in ag!in. Guess I am just a big complainer. Either to hot or to cold. They won't be home till6 or !fter. Daren has to work till 6 on Tue. so Jen has to get Dawson. While she has been on the mandatory OT, Daren has been getting him, since he has to picked up by 6. Last night Daren grilled cheese burgers for us. Think it's wraps to night.
