Woke up early again, 7:30 Guess that's going to be my new nrom getting up early Nice day with sun out Tomorrow humidity returns for one day, so AC will be working again Dusting & some cooking today Tomorrow nothing. Hoping Christina is here on Tuesday.

Good Morning Ladies - - - Home from church and turned the AC on now - It's 82 at 10:45 so know it will be a warm day - I plan to stay in today and much of the week. Last night, they showed the weather map and had 110 down for Tue. and Wed. and the he said he wouldn't be surprised if it went even higher than that. I guess we will wait and see. I just wonder if the power companies around here will be equipped to handle that many AC's running over duty! I stopped at KS on my way home and picked up a few things. I was just going to pull into the parking space net to the handicap one when the lady in that one just started to back out without looking - I hit my horn and the guy coming out of the store yelled at her, and she finally stopped just inches or maybe less from backing right into the side of me, after I honked 3 times. It was a close call, and she could not have looked at all, because I was there a bit waiting for the gal getting into the car on the other side. I didn't want to get her door.. You wouldn't have had a problem finding a place to sit in church - slim crowd again. Summer does that, but so many have not come back after covid and I think it has just gotten to be a habit now of not going. The banana's were all riper than I like so just got 3 - there small ones this time so shouldn't have a problem of getting those ate before they are too ripe! I like the longer ones better - seem to have a little different taste than the short ones.
Not much happening around here for the day - just a lazy one!
IC, my air went on when I came home from church - it was 80 in here, so it was time.

Good Morning....
It's a sunny and starting to be a very warm day. Could be near 90 today and I feel the humidity.
I've got a load of laundry going and have cleaned the bathroom. Now I'm having some yogurt for lunch. I like the greek vanilla non-fat yogurt and I add a spoonful of peanut butter and some granola.
We went to church today and it's still standing..LOL We haven't been but only a couple times this summer and that was in June. Our Pastor announced last week that he has received a call to a church in Washington, Illinois. He will tell us his decision next Sunday. I think he came to us in 2017 or 18. So he hasn't been here all that long. Not sure how the call process works but wondering if he requested to be put on the call list as, maybe, he isn't happy here. He was having a meeting with the congregation after service to explain the process, but we didn't stay.
DMIL is being released tomorrow. Not sure what time she will get out, but she is excited...although DH & I both kinda think she is getting used to being in the rehab place. DH & his brother are together now planning what needs to be done when she gets home. DBIL has already set up "Helping Hands" to do a lot of things for her. Now the big question is how do they tell her she can't cook anymore. Maybe they will have to disconnect the stove. That will have to be determined.
We've been really busy the past few days with the grandkids and will probably have them all this week. DSIL's mom had emergency surgery last week and won't be able to take the kids for a bit. Their school/daycare is closed this week and next to get ready for the beginning of the new school year and give the teachers a little break. So, it looks like it's all falling on us. Between the grandkids and DMIL, we are tired. But we will get through it.
We had the kids for a few hours yesterday, so I took them over to see my mom. She was so happy to see them and spend a little time with them. She rarely sees them, so the kids aren't real comfortable with her. But by time we had been there a few minutes, they warmed up to her (she had cookies LOL). She was happy.

Good morning.
Mike came this morning and help relocate my freezer so we could plug it in to an outlet in the bedroom. Then we tried tripping the circuit breaker and it is working. But I am still calling my electrician tomorrow morning to replace the circuit for the craft room. I don’t want to deal with all this again anytime soon. So now I have an extension cord from my router to a plug in in the kitchen and a cord to the bedroom. God help me so I don’t trip. We did put rugs over the cords so that should help.
We are still in For a rough weather day. Very high winds and rain. I have things tucked in as best I can. All I can do now is pray for safety. And prayer works wonders. God has been so good to me. Even with all the bad stuff that I have had to go through these last few years, he has helped me through it all. I pray now for protection and safety for Mandy, me and our home etc.
No church today. If the strong winds hit while in church my little car could sail me to Kansas, i surely don’t want to end up there. No Toto and I will stay home. Church in my home town had a visiting pastor. Let’s just say I had a nice morning nap. I’ll do online again for Yuma.
Mandy was such a good girl dealing with her potty schedule being mixed up. But the little stinker would not go potty in the rocks behind the house. I had to drive her to her usual spot, the pet area to go poo last night when the rain let up.
Please excuse the small print and typing mistakes. I’m on my iPad until the breaker is replaced. It’s too hard on a computer to get shut down improperly.

Just the usual Sunday afternoon. Church this morning. Home for some lunch now to decide what to do with the rest of the day. Blue skies and sunshine with the temp at 80 going to 86 this afternoon and hotter the next few days!

Greenback so glad that lady stopped and didn't hit you! There's just too many problems involved when dealing with car insurance.
CJ sorry to hear that your pastor might be leaving that leaves a big empty spot to fill and not an easy job
Mamma hope the electrical problems gets a safe solution soon. I can understand you wanting an electrician to check it out.
Time to find Kindle and see what happens next in my book!

Sunny and heating up here. It's in the mid 80's and by the end of the week, we'll be having 90's. one forecast said might even hit 100*. This is not AZ!! LOL It was church, lunch and I just woke up from a power nap. It felt so good! My finch is eating well, and I don't have any food for them if/when the feeders get empty so I might make a fast trip to get some. I talked to a friend from FL yesterday and he has cancer that has spread to his bones etc. How sad! his wife passed almost 2 years ago. He'll be 86.
ICOOK Are you going to bed earlier since you're up earlier? The days are getting shorter, less sunlight. I tend to tired earlier in the day when that happens.
GREENBACK That was a close call. I'm glad she finally saw you before something happened. Maybe people are on vacation from church. We had a good crowd today but many have never come back from the covid situation.
CJ Pastors seem to come and go. I hope he does what's best for him and his family and the church. You are definitely being over-loaded with both DM's and the DGC. One day at a time! Easy does it.
MAMMA What a good help and friend Mike is! I'm glad you have someone to help you through this. How much longer is the rain/wind etc. to stay around? Good for Mandy, even though it took a while but they know what they want and like us, like our routine. LOL
GRAMMY Your day sounds like mine except I won't be reading but play Classic Words on my Kindle. LOL

I still have a little dusting to finish. I was in the kitchen most of the morning getting the stuffed peppers ready for the crock pot. Have to fry the eggplant yet & cut up some watermelon . Tomorrow I'm doing nothing. I hope Christina comes on Tuesday I have another Drs. appt & a few more stops to make Drug store again for three more scripts & two stores have meat on sale that I want. They are close to the drug store.
Elle I've been going to bed the same time. Don't know why I'm waking up earlier.

Good morning,
I made barbq chicken, steamed cabbage
and boiled
red potatoes. We had planned to go to
Bird Key for a picnic, but it is storming.
Bird Key is one of my favorites, it is past the
Ringling bridge in downtown Sarasota, on the
way to Siesta Key beach.
Tomorrow is my Doctor visit. Will be glad to get
that behind me,
