I'm opening again today. A lot to do again today. Hopefully wet mop floors & do a load of wundies & towels. Don't know it I'll get to the dusting. Probably tomorrow for that.

Good morning,
It has been raining hard since 2 am. and is still dark and raining hard. So far no damaging winds, PTL. Mandy did not want to go potty in the back. It took a long time before she finally gave in. No pooh, so we will hope the rain stops so I can take her to her usual spot for that. Such a creature of habit. I put a shirt on her so she stayed dry for the most part and I had an umbrella. Since rain is such good sleeping weather I slept like a log and didn't roll out of bed until almost 7. I feel very rested. 
Looking at the radar it will/could rain most of the morning with rain off and on all afternoon. The damage from hurricane Hillary didn't make it this far, it turned and veered off more to the west. Another praise. But still rain off and on all weekend into and through Monday. We so need the rain too. I don't mind the rain, but with Mandy, well that is another story. hehehe The dew point is awful but the temp is at 78º.
Washing sheets this morning, checking the mail at the office, and set Annievac free to do the floors. That is all I have planned for the day. Changing sheets is enough.

Good morning grannies, another day with sun shine and warming temps. Today temps will be near 80 and I'm still wearing long pants and a sweater! Sounds like I might be making a change to capris tomorrow as the temp heads toward 90! It was a chill morning with the temp at 52! Just a reminder that those cool Sept mornings will soon be here.
IC the early bird again with your work all planned for the weekend! No reason to do it all on one day why rush things. I find I work a lot slower each year.
Mamma just so Mandy does her job in the right places no cleanup! Glad you are getting some much needed rain!
The cleaning lady was here early today so the house clean again. She does a nice job but still some things that we need to work on such as moving small things to vacuum. Big things don't need to be moved every time but small things yes. She will be at the beach next week, I gave her vacation pay and had a long discussion about why I was paying her when she wasn't here to work.
Nothing much to be done the rest of this day just spend some time with Kindle

A bright, sunny cool start to the day. Tomorrow will be a warm up, summer reappearing. I have a load of laundry going and I will clean the kitchen and family room too. Hopefully this a.m. yet. This p.m. I want to get some produce and go to Bath and Body Works for some hand soap. I have a coupon and I am in need of it so this is a good day. That's about it for my life today. Nothing new that I can think of.
ICOOK A good morning to you. I slept in until a little after 7:00 which is my normal time. You have a busy day and you're right, dusting can wait until tomorrow.
MAMMA I'm glad the hurricane didn't hit your area. I watched in on the news last night and thought of you. Poor Mandy, she's probably not liking all the rain either. I hope she does her poo-poo outside soon.
GRAMMY You're a special teacher to your "cleaning lady." She's being taught well and with an interest in building her in responsibility. Enjoy Kindle today. If we lived closer, we'd spend time chatting!! My DD is near Columbus t his weekend visiting her son, my DGS.

Good Morning Ladies - - - It's nice out there yet, 74 and sunny and a little breeze every once in awhile. This is the beginning of the heat wave though. I don't have a lot to do next week, so will just lay low in the AC as much as I feel necessary.
IC, you have a busy day planned - - remember to take breaks.
Mamma, how wonderful for you to get some of that rain - I know it makes it difficult for Mandy, but such a gift to receive that moisture.
Grammy, love all of the lessons you are teaching, even though they are not cleaning. Some day when Kathy is all grown up, she is going to look back on this time and realize what an inspiration you have been in shaping her life.
Ellie, be careful in Bath & Body - we all know how things can jump in your basket, and that is a place where it happens so easily. How was the game day?

I have my peach cobbler in the oven. Used the ripest ones to keep them from spoiling. I hate waste and good is too expensive. It 100 (heat index). Monday I have my doctors appt. Hope he can fix my knee even though I am nervous about going. Next weekend we have that trip planned to a museum in Gibsonton. It is near Tampa. Before long I will be heading home I want to do some things there. One is get Guttering put on my house. Hope all of you rested well. 😎😎 |

Hello, I'm at the History Center, it's been a busy day. I thought I'd take a scenic route, yeah, that was about a half hour circle in the country, but it was a beautiful drive. Got Al's stuff, picked up somethings at my sister's, and made a few other pit stops. The mannequin is put back together and in her new place right now. It sounds like it has been busy here today, that is good to hear. After this it is out to the farm and church with supper at the church after.
I finally got the Rx, hopefully this will help w/ the heartburn. We will be seriously addressing this at the next dr appt. They can have that GB, I'll even give them an appendix and as much body floof as they want. I was up late last night, I think I was over tired, but got up and ready in time today. Seems weird to not be going to the NH on this visit, I hope we can get the loose ends on all of that taken care of soon!

I'm taking a SSD Been busy all day Floors are done. Laundry washed & dried. Not rushing to fold them Only towels & wundies were washed. Started dusting. I know I won't finish today. Have a pork chop in the oven & cabbage & potatoes cooking for my veggie Doors & windows open. Temps. in the 50's the last two nights.

This morning the power went out in the Arizona room. Chris the maintenance guy came to give me a hand and turned the circuit back on. But shortly after he closed the door the circuit popped off again. So I contacted him again and he called The Parks electrician. So I am impatiently waiting for the electrician to show up. Chris said that they would come sometime today even though they're very busy. I had no internet I can't work in the craft room because it was too dark and my freezer is in that room. But to have internet I ran an extension cord from the router into the bathroom outlet so now at least I have internet and can watch TV. But my computer is down because there's no power in that room. Rest of the house is just fine it's just that one circuit. Chris believes that it got wet with the heavy rain that we had. And the panel is old so that doesn't surprise me it just ticks me off that I don't know how to fix it myself. And being it Saturday and the control panel is old I'm not looking forward to what all may have to be done and the cost. I sure as heck didn't need this to happen it's just adds to my depression. But I'll get through it I always do with God's help.

SSD time for me but no nap. I did get the laundry done and the kitchen, family room cleaned too. Then I went to W/Mart and Bath and Body Works. Now I'm home for the day. It's going to be pizza for supper. Then an evening with surfing the net, games and TV. Exciting, right? NOT! LOL
GREENBACK I hit the jackpot!! I wanted hand soap and it was on sale, all handsoaps on sale for $2.95 and I had a 20% off coupon so I bought several. They had a good selection too. That sale ends tomorrow. Game day went well, we played domino's and a new "card" game called Golf ??something? it was fun, they left shortly after 5:00. Thanks for asking. I hope the coming week will be relaxing for you. We need those "slow down" times.
CAROLYN I hope the Dr. appointment will be very successful in getting help with the knees. Enjoy your time with family!!
LAURIE It is strange to not do the routine things when it changes. Hugs!! You've been busy today. I hope the prescription will help with the GB situation.
ICOOK You keep talking about cabbage. I haven't bought it for a long time as it's too much but you are really tempting me! I might just have to break down and buy one. I think one DD likes it so I could share it with her if I get one.
MAMMA Crap!! I'm sorry for the difficulty you're having. When it rains it pours! Hang on, when you're down, the only other option is to look up! and I believe you are doing that. Hugs and prayers!!!!!
