Good morning all. There's coffee and a freshly washed coffee pot and counter. It's funny how clear the coffee is when you forget to actually put coffee in the filter. Oh well, the pot got a good cleaning, as did the counter when I spilled hot water on it. I give up on any attempts at culinary anything right now. I do need to put something together for a potluck later. I'm doing whipped cream cheese topped with candied jalapeño jelly with crackers. Don't have to cook anything, should be good. The dryer is going, all dogs have done their "busyness" and been fed and watered. I plan to sit on my butt for a bit. #1 will be over later this morning, I need to talk to him about a couple of things and maybe his jeep will be ready. I am not holding my breath on that, but this is my busy week, next week calms down and the Yeti can use a car from his parents if needed. I saw Al yesterday after the meeting at the History Center; my sister and I went out there and she loaded his fridge. Wouldn't mind getting in on that myself-salisbury steak, gravy, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, grapes, watermelon. She does that about once a week with different things. He calls the little Salisbury steaks "sliders." I'd done a Walmart stop for him so we got that put away too. I forgot to tell him where I put something so I just called. I had to make a stop at the courthouse yesterday and on my way in someone had left their dog in the car-too hot for that baloney, even though they had put the windows down, it was still there after I went out, so I walked in to the cop shop and told the clerk, they were sending someone out to take care of it.
Yesterday I went to Walgreens to get 2 Rx that were ready-per the multiple texts I'd gotten and the six, yes six, different calls on Saturday when I said I'd get them on Tuesday. Get there yesterday, go to the counter and the girl looked at me and stayed on her computer, so I waited-the only one there. Finally she asked if she could help me, told her what I needed. Nothing there, zip zero zilch. I had her double check, nope, nothing there. I told her about the calls and texts and that I didn't get it, it was ridiculous. She said she could put them in now, I told her I had to leave (before I said something that would be a viral "Karen" thing) and fine, but I wouldn't get it until maybe Thursday. After I got in the car, I had a survey pop up from them asking about my experience. So I typed out what I thought, amazingly it cut out part way through. Then, it rained, thunder and lightning and all. Remember the kid from Charlie Brown with the black cloud over their head? That was me yesterday. Not my finest moment. Even though it rained again during the night, today is a new day.

A nice day today & no humidity till tomorrow AC will be back on tomorrow. Only a load of laundry being done today. Christina cleaned the bathroom & wet mopped the floors yesterday. Tomorrow I get my gum surgery. Not looking forward to that.

Good Morning Ladies - - - it's 70 and cloudy today - - feels like rain, but don't think we can be that lucky. The guy will be here soon and then take my vehicle for an oil change and I called him yesterday after I got home and asked it he could look really for my phone. I should have known better to even put it in that pocket, when it fell out while I was putting my shoes on. I was up early and hit the shower right away so I would be dressed when they came - I usually never even see them. I put a check in the car and they just leave the bill/receipt in the seat when they bring it back. I also asked that they take the license plates off and then I will go to the courthouse and get the handicap plates and then go back up there and they will put them on.
Laurie, there was no need for you too share that black cloud. After dealing with the phone issue, I went to get up during the night to go to the LGR, and as I took my face mask off from the CPAP I somehow knocked off the cushion and I have a hard time getting that on anytime, so I didn't want to mess with it during the night - I just shut it off and went to my chair, but the trouble is if I sit to long in there, my foot or feet go to sleep/cramp up on me - so that's why I was up early. I have it back together now so ready for tonight. You girls are good to AL and I'm sure he appreciates it very much. Enjoy your visit with # 1. Stuff like you are dealing with at Walgreen's is why I changed stores - when they started charging for the delievery was just the straw that broke the camel's back.
IC, I will be thinking of you tomorrow and hope the gum surgery go's well for you and that there will not be a lot of discomfort.

Good Morning....
Hope this post goes through. Not typing anything over..lol
Sunny morning and looks to be a nice day. The humidity is up, though, and I was sweating in the garden this morning and the few other things I did outside.
My windows are so dirty....I think maybe today will be the day to wash some of them...at least the big one in the living room. Tired of looking through haze and dirt.
DMIL is doing so good. She doesn't understand very well what all the therapy is for...walking sideways, hitting a balloon and keeping it in the air, riding the stationary bike...etc. We've explained to her but she thinks it's all silly stuff. Anyway...she is ready to go home and we are hoping it will happen real soon.
I made the Chicken Rigatoni Pasta last night. It was good, a little bland, but if I make it again I will add more seasonings. I made the mistake of leaving my rigatoni in the colander till the sauce was done and it was flat. Didn't look like the little pipes that it's suppose to look like. Oh well, live and learn. We will have the rest for supper tonight.
Lauriet...what a day you had. I'd be pretty peeved. Al is lucky to have you and your siblings.
Icook....good luck with the surgery tomorrow.
DH is on his walk and I'm about to start a load of laundry. Have a great day everyone.....

Good morning
The pet area was finally cleaned, it smelled a bit better too. My friend Mary was there so I got a chance to chat with her for a bit. I got an earful of stuff too. She is the park newsperson. LOL
Mandy will be getting a bath this morning after I water Jills plants. Right now I'm waiting for the wash to finish. Then I can hang some and put some clothes in the dryer. Laundry first, while I finish my coffee then tasks get done. I don't do much before coffee.
Laurie, I can't count the number of times I forget to put the coffee grounds in the basket.Then I wake up to a pot of hot water. But luckily I have a Keurig so help me out.
Jane I hope that your phone turns up soon. Yes, I agree with CJ, have someone call your phone and see if anyone answers or if you can hear your phone.
CJ, humidity is going up here too because of the storms in California. The winds are blowing in the moisture.  Those darn windows. My least favorite job.
Time to put the Downy in the wash, then make the bed.

Good News!!! He just brought my car and phone back!! I didn't do much to track it yet as I was so sure it had to be in there somewhere!
The bad news is that he said I should be thinking about new tires - - Not surprised, as my BIL told me that last year, but my neighbor and Daren said they were okay then, but that's a year ago.

Goodmorning grannies, it's a sunshiny morning temps will be going to low 80s with very high humidity and more rain heading this way for late afternoon!
Laurie what rotten, horrible, no good day for you! Hope this is a good one for you. I have a prescription to pick up sure hope that I don't encounter any of those problems. This is also auto fill.
IC hope everything goes well with the gum surgery tomorrow.
Greenback nothing worse than a lost phone or maybe a computer that won't work! Hope you find that phone soon and it isn't lost forever.
Mamma No coffee just hot water! That would be a bad start for my day!Love my Keurig! I set it all up at night just get up and push the button. Coffee is ready when I come out of the bathroom. Glad to hear the doggy area got some cleaning done!
Same ole, same ole. Nothing new going on here I need a trip to Meijer to pick up the eye drops. Looks like the store is way ahead of my use, I still have unopened bottle. Might as well get them I will need them in a couple of weeks.

Good sunny afternoon, humidity is here and the temps are going up. I went out and got some sweetcorn, filled my gas tank. That took some time as the pump didn't want to work. They finally did get it going. A lady there at another pump told me that pump never/seldom works and she has learned to avoid it. I guess I have too! I sprayed the weeds and not going to have a light lunch and head out for coffee at the cabin. The hummingbirds are really putting on a show, they are not giving up their space at the feeder if they're first! I love watching them. Pretty bad that that's my entertainment! LOL
LAURIE I also picked up a prescription at W/greens yesterday. So far, no problems with them. Love your telling about it.
ICOOK Let us know how the gum surgery goes. I hope it's easier, less uncomfortable that hoped for!!!
GREENBACK Wonderful!! you now have your phone back. My little "Google Nest" has found my phone for me more than once. Isn't it something how we "need" our phones with us now....remembering when there was one with a crank, long speaker, and hanging on the wall. Good old days!!! !!!?!
CJ My house is open, doors are unlocked, just walk in. I'll furnish the window cleaner and towels for you. LOL I don't enjoy that job either and my windows are showing it too. Maybe one of these days I'll get to them. LOL I'm glad your DMIL is doing so well and hope she gets to go home soon too.
MAMMA You must have done some good since they finally gave the dog area some attention. Good for you and I hope they keep it that way!! Does Mandy behave when you give her a bath? Kayli was good at first, but if I took too long, she let me know she had enough. LOL
GRAMMY I don't think we're to have rain here today. Yesterday was dry too but had previously been predicted to rain. Who doesn't enjoy the sunshine!! Do you have any new birds to watch? My finch seem to have almost gone and for a while, they were emptying the feeders fast. I'm not sure what happened.
Time for a quick lunch then heading out for cofee.

I'm back sitting on my butt. #1 has come and gone, they cleaned my Jeep for me, they are awesome. Found out I have a bad speaker in there, he'll order one and fix it for me. Hopefully, cross your fingers, his Jeep is ready, if not, the Yeti is with him and they can deal with it. I need to go to a neighbor's to ride to book club with her, this month they pick the books for the next year. I've got to get my dish together too. Laundry is done and I wrote an article for the history center newsletter, my aunt is in charge of it and I got a message from her "if you wanted to write an article I wouldn't say no" so that is done. A friend of #1 and #2 is having a baby soon, I ordered a book for her to be signed by the author and ordered their next book for myself, now #1 will just pick it up for me and I'll add some things to it for the gift and get it in the mail. I think I am going to squeeze a nap in, I'm tired and kind of cranky. The whole Rx thing goofed up when they called and said they wanted to get me on a 90 day cycle, I think something got goofed up as I have 2x as many of one med as I should and the other I can't get refilled til my dr comes back next week. I think I'll just go live in woods with few neighbors....oh wait... I already do.

My work is done for the day Laundry is in the dryer. Lab just called me to schedule my blood work They come to me now Makes it so much easier.
Grammy Heat & humidity returns here tomorrow. AC got a few days rest. Supposed to be humid most of next week.
Jane Great news that your phone was found.
Mamma You can take Mandy to the dog park now & no stinky smell.

Elle, Mandy is so good when I give her a bath. I know she isn't fond of it but she stands perfectly still and cooperates. She only shakes when I tell her she can shake. When she is dried off and let out of the bathroom she runs around like crazy. I hope that means she is happy to be clean again.
IC, I take Mandy to the pet area in the morning and evening. In the afternoon that area is in full sun so we go to the area under the solar panels where there is shade. Come winter when all the snowbirds are here I doubt I will take her to the pet area. So many dogs got sick last year. Too many people don't vaccinate their pets. That is the only time Mandy can be off leash so I really hope it's not as bad as last year. I know I will complain this year if need be.
About the only thing I got done here is the one load of laundry. I've got so much more to do, but I've just been too lazy and don't care lately. So not like me.  Feel free to kick me in the butt.
Nothing will get done this afternoon either. Hard to do much when you won't be able to see very well. Good excuse. hehehe

I broke down & turned the AC back on It's 87* in my apartment. Got the laundry dried. It's still in the dryer to fold. It'll get done eventually.

Well, it's me again. I needed a SSD! So I had a good morning with the oil change being taken care of, my phone in my pocket again, then I went to the courthouse and got my handicap license plates and back to the tire center so Paul could put them on. While I was there, I asked when the new owners take over, and he said Sept. 1. He will still be there, but his brother is 72 and wanted out. They open at 6:00AM! So I said lets get those new tires on while you still get the business. He priced out 3 different ones for me and he actually encouraged me to get the cheaper, no name ones since I don't put many miles on. They are almost 500.00 cheaper than the good year ones. As long as he said they sell lots of them and haven't had any problems with them, I said go for it. SO Friday, I will have new tires..
Then my neighbor came with the mail and 4 ears of corn a couple of peppers and small tomatoes, and a dish of muskmelon. So I didn't have anything for supper planned, so I took bacon out and will have a BT and corn - I cut it all off the ear and cooked it, so it's ready when I am. I washed some dishes while it cooked, mostly because I wanted that frying pan to do the bacon. So it's done too - but I needed to sit for a bit as I had been standing for almost an hour. I felt really good to, that I got in and out of the courthouse without a mishap - - It's a hike for me, even though I use the elevator. I met the custodian at the door, and he offered to get the wheel chair for me, and I said no, but I would take his arm to cross the threshold as it was kind of uneven. I know him from church - he doesn't come anymore after his mom died, but go's with his wife now to the catholic church, but they are still our custodians. I was tired when I got to the car though. I sat down to read the paper this afternoon, but didn't get all the way through it, and my eyes needed to close for a little. So it's been a good day, but expensive for me!
