Going out this morning the air was like a punch in the face. So humid one could hardly breath. Not much of a wind and 94º already. A resident was in a talkative mood so I stood out there a lot longer than I wanted to. But he was full of park information. Not good stuff either.
I'm trying to cool off and dry off before watering Jills plants. Yesterday something had sat in one of her plants or half of it just died. She has plants that I've never seen before so no idea how much or how little water they need. She took a gamble on me caring for the plants. But I do my best.
Church on line and in person today. Then home and just sit and do nothing or sit and make some more Halloween cards. Depends on my back, it's been a pain lately.

I'm dry swiffing floors today Almost half done. A little dusting to finish too. Have another eggplant to fry Going to enjoy eating as Thursday is my gum surgery.
Mamma I turned my AC back on this morning. Heat index is 91* AC will be on all week now.

Hi all-can’t make this bigger as I’m on my phone. My computer is being a pain. Going to see my aunt and probably swing by my niece’s as we’ll be five miles away need to stop at Menards too. It’s sticky out but it beats -40*! BBL

Good Morning Ladies - - - It's 72 and cloudy here, and we are to get rain this afternoon and think there are storms in our path as well, at least it sounded that way last night. Nice to have fresh air coming in again, even if you could ring out the moisture in it. I didn't go to church this morning, so not much for breakfast - I toasted the 2 heels of the bread - that's all that was left - I had planned to stop at KS and pick up a few things on my way home. I had a frozen pizza last night for supper. I made a small grocery pick up yesterday and my favorite kind was on sale - - been a long time since I have had one of those. I have half in the frig waiting for me and also a lb. of burger in there that I need to do something with. Not sure what I want though.
Mamma, hope the park news wasn't too upsetting. Hope you can stay cool and comfortable.
IC, enjoy the eggplant - I know that is a favorite of yours.
Laurie, another busy day for you on the run. Enjoy your visits.
Hope everyone is enjoying the day - - Not much news here!

Good Afternoon....
We had rain early this morning. I laid in bed and listened to it for a while. Then it rained a little more mid morning. I decided to watch a movie. I've been making a list of what I'd like to watch and checking them off as I do. Now that we have Amazon Prime Fire TV, I can find some movies I've been wanting to see.
I picked a cucumber, tomatoes and beans from my garden. We will have BLT's for supper today. And I'll go get some fresh corn at the farm stand down the road. That will be a good supper.
Mamma... I like your new plants.
Icook...hope your surgery goes well on Thursday. Eat all the things you like before it.
Greenback....we are to get more rain this afternoon. I might try to get out there on the swing before the next round. The rain has also made the humidity go up.
Lauriet...don't even think -40. Not ready for winter yet.
We'll go see DMIL after supper. We went last night and she really looked good and was very cheery and talkative. We're hoping she'll go home this week sometime.

It's a cloudy day but the computer says only a slight chance of rain and that's ok we can use some time to get dry. It's 82* now and the humidity is71% getting to be a little sticky!
CJ the BLT along with some fresh corn sounds like a good supper! Nothing much from our garden I think too much rain and cold days with no sunshine was not a good thing.
Laurie, sorry about the mistake, can I take back one of the congratulations and save it for the right time??? Sounds like it's another busy day for you.
Mamma the humidity sure makes it hard to cool down on a hot day! Hope the clean up crew shows up to take care of the doggy area. PHEWW!
Greenback glad you could get your favorite frozen pizza while it was on sale.That will make it taste even better.
IC eggplant always sounds so good. The eggplant are in pots so we will soon have them ready to eat.

I finished a doll blanket for my friends
grand daughter.
I have not felt so great today. I just have
worse days for arthritis pain. And, knee pain.
I don't have anything to take, left my
Celebrex at home. Don't know that it helped.
They mentioned going to the circus but
it is over
$ 500 for 4 people. Ridiculous.
We are planning a trip to Gibsonton one day.
That is where the carnival people retired to.
Guess there is a lot of history there.

Drat and double drat. The wind is so strong that I won't be able to pull the outside shades down. The wind will rip them right off of the porch and carport. Good day to stay inside.......again. LOL
Today I watched my MN church on line. Pastor had a message that really touched home for me. And the songs were so good. My church here in Yuma still hadn't started for way over 25 minutes. By not starting I mean it had way too much, what I call jibber jabber in the beginning. Most all of which was already in the bulletin and could have been shortened by not having a video on the same thing as all the talking. This is why I don't like going anymore. I want to sing worship and hear the message. The songs are so very hard to follow I can't sing. I love to sing. Time to check out a different church. This one just isn't doing it for me. Mark didn't mind all the chatting at the beginning of the service but I don't really see the sense of soooo much. No wonder the service is almost two hours long. Okay that is my big gripe for the day.
Yesterday I watched the movie "80 for Brady". It was really a good movie and I plan on watching it again. Good clean movie too.

Just finished my lunch A leftover stuffed pepper. I'll have my cleaning done today. Have to fry the eggplant yet.
I fell this morning Tinker is always pulling me My face hit my walker I'm OK Just wish I could get Tinker to stop.
CJ Good news on your MIL I' I'll definitely be eating a BLT before my surgery. Bacon is a little hard for me to chew.
