A hazy morning with the sun trying to shine. The temp will be near 80 again today with sunshine and no rain today!
Not much excitement here today. While I was having my coffee I watched a mamma deer and her baby wander about the yard. No beautiful sunrise to watch this morning. Wonder why I haven't see a beautiful sunrise for a long time?? I used to watch them frequently.
DD said several doz ears of corn are to arrive today and would I be available to help with getting that into the freezer. That will be my work for the day.

Good morning
No breeze and a bit muggy this morning. I think the smell in the pet area has gotten to Mandy too. She has been quicker than normal. I'm not complaining. I did send an email to the owner about the filthy condition of the pet areas. It's not healthy for pet or person to be in there. I hope something gets done soon.
This morning I will go and water all the inside and outside plants for my friend Jill. She has admitted herself for depression and anxiety treatment. And she will be gone for a month. I'll water in the morning so I don't have to deal with the worst heat of the day. Then I have a couple returns to take to the UPS again, stop at the $tree and WM for more watermelon. This time I'll get two melons, one is not enough when they are Kandy. I may have a load of clothes that need washing too.
Grammy, fresh sweet corn, mmmmmmmm good. We have corn here all year but not as good as what I had in MN. Different soil, and weather conditions change the taste and texture.
Gotta run the sun is burning.......

Good Afternoon....
It's sunny and warm. A nice breeze without humidity.
I watered flowers last night and finished up the ones I didn't get to, this morning. I saw the big orange moon last night. Sure was pretty.
DMIL is doing really good. DH went to see her after supper last night and when he walked in the building, he saw her in the library area looking to see what books they have. So it was good to see her out of her room. She uses her walker like she's suppose to. DH & DBIL have a meeting with the rehab place this afternoon to talk about the plan of action and what her rehab will be. We are hoping she will be going home soon.
Grammy...nice that you can help with the corn. YUM that will taste good.
Mamma...glad you can help out your friend. I sure wouldn't want to live near that dog park if it's that smelly. Yuck!

Good Morning Ladies - - - It's 77 and sunny at the moment. It got kind of warm late yesterday, more in the evening. I didn't turn the AC on, but probably should have, as I couldn't get to sleep, and not sure if that was the problem or not, but I ended up sleeping later this morning. I still need to shower, as that cup of coffee was calling me first thing. I have a HC this afternoon, and hope it makes my hair a little more manageable. Sometimes I wonder if age isn't an issue there too. Other than that, a load of laundry is all that's on my schedule. The paper comes today, so after I get home again, I can get the ice pack out again and sit down and read it. I boiled some eggs yesterday and had a salad for supper with a few crackers - my neighbor had brought me a couple of small tomatoes and a small green pepper so had some goodies to put on it. I just may do a rerun of that tonight.
Grammy, I'm sure you will all enjoy the fresh corn - both now and later. I am not so much a fan of corn on the cob, I don't like the butter running down my chin and steam in my face - I would just as soon cut it off the cob, as I know how tasty it is.
Mamma, nice that you can help Jill out with her flowers - I'm sure you will be happy to get those melons - are the candy ones those little one's? I've only had them once or twice but I didn't think they have the flavor that the regular ones do. Size wise they would be perfect for me. I also think they have a better flavor when they have the seeds, than the seedless ones.
Guess I better get my shower done and clothes on before my neighbor brings mail. Of course, you never know when the mailman comes!

Mamma A nice day here too with no humidity. Tomorrow my AC goes back on as the humidity returns. It's been nice with doors & windows open Tinker is enjoying it too.

Jane, it would never pay for me to buy the little ones. That would only last for a few minutes. hehehe I only buy the biggest melons I can find. Kandy is the brand name and the only ones I'll buy anymore. I've never had a bad one from that company yet.
CJ, how wonderful to hear that dmil is doing so well and even getting out of her room!
IC< no doors or windows open here yet. And I wouldn't call the weather today good. It's muggy and hot, but not as hot as it's gonna get. hehehe
Lunch is done, errands ran, dishes washed and now to sit a bit. Then go and see if Phylis can take me to the eye doctor on Wednesday next week. I won't be able to drive home due to the eyes being dilated. Oh how I hate that. It takes my eyes until the next day to be right again.  I guess I could drive, it just wouldn't be safe for me or anyone else. I won't do that.

Hi all, I thought I posted before, but my computer shut down so I guess it didn't go through. Just picked another pail of chokecherries and they are all clean and ready to go in the freezer. I didn't realize how many I had in the freezer from last season, it'll be a syrup day the next time it is cool enough. The tree guys are still working out by the high lines, if they are getting paid by the hour it should be big $, but sure seems to be taking a lot longer than necessary. Oh well. I need to go document a couple of calls I made, I'm supposed to be doing that right now. My brother just called a bit ago, very frustrated w/ some stuff from work and my sister texted earlier too. I didn't sleep well at all last night, cross your fingers tonight is better.
