Good Morning....
The sun is shining and the air is warm and humid. Going to start getting hotter the rest of the week.
I'll be going over to the hospital for a while today. DMIL didn't have a very good night the night before and wasn't her usual self yesterday. I didn't go yesterday. Don't think she will be released anytime soon...if she is, then it will be to a rehab place.
Not much news...so I'll wish everyone a wonderful day......

Good Morning Ladies - - - Just a quick stop on my way to the shower, but I wanted to say Hello, before I head out for coffee. Sorry to hear that DMIL didn't have a good night, but she is where she needs to be until she is stronger. They take good care of our loved ones, and then you can rest easier when you can't be there.
Not much happening here today, other than coffee. It's 76 already - I turned the air on about 5:30 yesterday, so slept well.

Good morning
Partly cloudy today but hot. It's already 94 and it's not yet 7. No plans for today other than cards and tv. The other day on the news they said that this is the coldest summer any of us will see and it's the hottest in most places on record. That is not comforting living where I do. Climate change is hitting harder all the time.
Yesterday I got 5 sympathy cards made but am out of envelopes. Wednesday I'll have a big order of supplies coming then I can finish packaging the cards. I have nice cellophane sleeves to protect the cards and envelopes. That really dresses up the cards for selling at the porch sale this fall.
CJ, praying for you all and MIL. It's a tough situation for all of you.
Jane, coffee time with friends, can't get much better than that. Enjoy.
Time to get Mandy out now.

Good morning to all. It is to be a hot one here and back in Missouri. And, getting hotter throughout the week. I haven't been out this morning, no walk today. Don't know what I ate that didn't agree with me, but I woke up sick in the night and was up about 3 times, only threw up once, but that was enough and the Big D was terrible. So, I'm slow and sluggish this morning, and any exercise today will be later in the pool or I may check out the workout facility here and try out the recumbent bike.
CJ, I meant to comment yesterday that it is unnerving what a UTI can do to the elderly. I know my mom had several of them, many of them required hospitalization to get her better. That infection just seems to take hold throughout their body, even affecting their cognitive abilities. I hope the antibiotics kick in soon and she is feeling better when you visit. My mom had trouble with so many antibiotics, it was always hard to find one that worked that didn't make her feel worse than the UTI itself did. She seemed to be allergic to most of them.
Jane, enjoy your time at coffee with your friends. I always enjoy hearing what you have on the menu, both when you host and when others do, too.
Good morning, Mama. I may tune into TV more than usual today, too. My get up and go has got up and went! I do need to deep clean the bathrooms for obvious reasons after my rough night. You're right, those cellophane sleeves will make your card products look really finished and professional.

Good morning grannies, the sun is trying to get thru the haze and will soon be shining brightly. The temp will be in the upper 80s this afternoon. Another down pour of rain yesterday evening! It lasted for more than half hour. I have not replaced the rain gage so I have no idea how much rain we got. DD and I were driving home when it was raining very hard when a deer ran across in from of us. Very close call! PTL no dead deer or no collision!
CJ sorry to hear that MIL is still hospitalized. SIL's dm had several hospital stays with the UTI infection. Very incoherent and not at all like herself. Antibiotics cleared it up and she would be ok for sometime. I hope MIL makes a good recovery soon.
Greenback enjoy the time with friends and I hope the coffee is good!
The craft session ok. We did a ceramic Christmas nite light. I the pc had already been fired so it was a small job to clean it up and put 3 coats of paint on it. They will be fired again then we get the call to pick them up. Easy work since I did lots of ceramic work many years ago and still have some of the things. A man in the class was making his tree into a gnome that was really cute. I don't have that kind of talent . Look at a Christmas tree and see a gnome then paint it on the tree. Not me!
Mamma sounds like you have been working at the cards and will have them ready for the sale. Hope they are appreciated and sell quickly!
Debbie hope you are feeling better today. Those things can certainly steal all of our energy. Take it easy today.
Nothing much for me to do today that means more kindle time

Home from coffee, and going to go get the mail next, then I will sit with my legs up and the ice pack on my knee. Have enough mac salad left for supper and then that's a done deal.
Carolyn, glad that you deceided to go to Florida and had a good flight - now enjoy.
Laurie, nice looking pickles - good idea to get out of the way! Both your guys will appreciate your visit.
Grammy, sounds like a fun little craft session and chance to visit with some new folks.
Debbie, hope you are feeling better as the day go's on and I think it's a good idea to stay in and lay low in this heat until you are feeling better - I know, that's a hard one for you.
Mamma, I think it would be a helpful idea to but the inside verse on the label or if it's blank inside, since they won't see that, and then you won't have people trying to open them to handling them in order to see what it is. Is the sale coming up soon, or is it after the SB's arrive?

Jane, the sleeves I have for the cards are the type where they can open the card and see what is inside and the card is still protected by the sleeve. Traditionally the porch sale is after the snowbirds get here sometime in October. So I got plenty of time.

Sitting at the NH. I called Al before going through town and made a WM stop and visited for a bit. At NH now, just had Ned’s again so sleepy. I’ll stay for a big and leave to avoid deer at dusk. It looks like it wants to rain, making haying hard, it’s too humid to vale unless you’re going to wrap it.

Does just sitting and resting all day count as getting anything done? If so great, I accomplished one thing today. 
Supper is leftover Thanksgiving dinner....all but the cranberries and pie.
