This morning I woke up to half the Sonoran desert on the porch, golf cart, and car. Too much to sweep so it's the leaf blower today. When it gets closer to 8 I'll fire it up. We have a quiet time rule from 10 pm to 8 am. The only ones that follow that rule are the full time residents of the park and I don't want to break any rules no matter how much the dirt is bothering me. I know it's there and it will drive me nuts until I clear it all off.
Today I was going to take it easy but mother nature decided I should work on Sunday. I'm glad she is not my mother. What a mean person. hehehe Yesterday I worked so hard at rearranging the living room. My power lift chair weighs a ton. The legs on that chair really do a number on the floor. So I got a 2 by 3 board and got it under the chair so I could put protective pads on the legs. Once the huge chore was done i could move the chair without damaging the floor. Most everything else needed the pads too so I took care of them as well. I was amazed that I could rearrange the furniture and have it work. The room looks a lot bigger now, like a small living room instead of a closet. The kitchen Island is now work space in the craft room. Not sure it will stay there but for now it is what it is. This is why I needed to take today off as a day of rest.

Good Morning Ladies - - - I've been to church and KS and home again. I plan to stay here now for the day. Not sure what's going on, but my right knee is giving me problems today. Just not sturdy at all and I almost went down with it a few times. I will be heading to my chair and putting it up shortly. I'm sorry to sound like such a winner, seems like I am always complaining about one ache or pain or another, and I should just keep it to myself, but didn't.
Mamma, that's a lot of work moving stuff around and it is a good idea for you to spend a restful day, once you have the sand blown off.
We had a pop up storm last night about 7:30. All of a sudden the wind blew really hard, the dish lost signal and then it started to pour. Even once the pouring stopped, it continued to rain. I don't know how much we got, but I think it was enough to be useful. Some places had hail, but as far as I know, we didn't. When I was shutting the sliding door, I see my neighbors tomato plants had tipped over. He has 2 of them planted into really big flower pots or some kind of a pot.
Ellie, I thought of your DH this morning - when I was at KS, I got a maple frosted Persian with nuts. I remember how we had them often after he did his Sunday deliveries. Pleasant memories.
Otherwise, not much happening here yet.

Jane, you are NOT a whiner. We all need to share what is going on in our life and here is a good place, among dear friends. So you go right on ahead and share. We love you. Take care and keep your feet up today.
OMG, did I sweat out there clearing the sand. Sweat was running into my eyes, ears and places I didn't know I had. It took a lot of effort to peal the wet clothes off when I was done. Tomorrow morning I'll have to wash the car and cart, no more of anything today.
My sweet neighbor from across the street just left. She informed of that the managers have been fired and have to be out of their park model by August first. The husband had been stealing from the park and selling the items for himself, and that is just the tip of the iceberg. All the employees are put on probation because of so many complaints of rudeness and bad language etc. Wow, I sure miss a lot because I don't play poker or card games. Our pool is open because the owner came here and raised He**. He thought the pool had been open months ago. My head is just swimming from hearing all the bad stuff that has been happening with the management. When Sharon left I went to the other room to tell Mark.  Oh dear.
Now I need to get the bed made and cleaned up. I'm sure I don't smell like a bed of roses.

It's warming up here again Turned the AC off yesterday Think I'll close up & turn it back on. Going to be very humid starting tomorrow & temps. in the 90's this week. Swiffing floors today. That's it. Of course, I'll have a few dishes to wash, but that's an every day thing.
Mamma Manager where I live was fired right after Earl & I moved here. She was stealing money. She wanted our first months rent in cash. You know where that went. In her pocket. There was a meeting here of residents living here with the vice-president of the company that owns the apartments. Earl & I had a receipt so we were safe.
Jane I'm losing my balance all the time too. I almost fell today. I grabbed a hold of my recliner to stop falling.

Good afternoon all~back from picking raspberries at Ann's island cabin. #1 was using the brush hog thing over there until the whipping thing gave out, time to replace the whip cord but no one seems to know where they are? The fastest way to find them would babe to buy another pack of them, which would get used anyway. Anyhoos, so #1 and I picked some wild raspberries, they look really good, I'll go back again this week after one of my trips to Blackduck and pick again. They probably could've been picked a week ago, but the birds and the bugs need to eat too. So, apparently bears do poo in the woods, or on the road, we drove though some smelly stuff and it was stuck to the tire. Oh man, yuck, hit the tar on the way home to get it off. See how exciting it is here? As long as I don't run into the bear in the berry patch I'm happy. Just sitting here waiting for a watched pot to boil so that he can juice the cherries he brought. I'm going to send a message to PT and see if we can continue for a while yet as I think that might be a good idea. I need to find something to eat, BBL.

Well tomorrow is the day.
I am trying to do a few things today to get ready
Not taking much.
Getting a little excited.
My reunion was good. Had a good turnout n
Lots of food.
The weather was good but we have a building
rented by the pool in the state park every year.
I am having lots of problems with my knee, ankle and
now my dang toe. It was miserable wearing a
shoe yesterday.
