Very bad sleeping night last night. I was awake till six this morning. Only a few minutes to finish the dusting then I'm taking it easy today. Maybe I'll fall asleep in front of the TV Couple inches of rain coming today. The drought watch is supposed to be lifted.

Good morning.
Out and back home, a load of laundry in the washer and my coffee and cookie are at hand. No breeze this morning but a windy afternoon. If it gets so windy I won't be able to pull down the front outside blinds. Not good for keeping this room comfortable unless I turn the mini split way down. Nope I just won't sit back here today.
Nothing on the agenda besides going to church. NO lunch out today, I had enough Wendy the other day. Her nonstop talking gives me a real headache. She just doesn't understand that other people would like to contribute to the conversation too. Once a month is enough of that. But maybe Lynda would want to go out for lunch.
I have to make a couple more cards to complete the Christmas gift packages. Two sympathy and one Thank you card. Then I can start to refill my cards. I've got plenty of stamps this year so I will send out a couple Christmas cards to my few family members.

Good Morning Ladies - - - What a nice morning - it's 74 and sunny, now if we could get some more rain, it would be wonderful. Not much happening here today - I've been to church and KS - ate my breakfast, and now having the second cup of coffee. I don't know that there will be much more happening all day, certainly no plans again. It will be good to be back to my regular routine this week, at least, maybe I will know what day of the week it is.
IC, those sleepless night are never ending, and then about the time to get up, you fall asleep. Good for you if you fall asleep watching TV.
Mamma, I have so many stamps I will I could share some of them with you. Some I even have doubles as DD gave me hers when she quit doing them. As for the other kind, the postage stamps, I ordered 3 books so I would have them before the price went up, and that was at least 2 weeks ago. I put the check and order in my box, and haven't gotten them yet. I called the PO last week and she didn't know what happened to them - must have gotten sent out and should be getting it back - well, by now the price increase has happened and who knows where my check is. This is the second time this has happened and the last time I had dropped it off at the outside drop box, and they said I should just put in my box, which I did, and that didn't work either! I have a friend that is like your Wendy. After she talks about herself for half an hour or more, she may or may not ask how things are with me. I use to try to enter into the conversation, but any more, I just let her talk.

Jane, it makes me just sick to think of all the crafting stamps that I used to have and lost. So many of the ones that I can find now are not worth purchasing. I keep watching for people selling theirs so I can get back some of what I've lost. The same goes for the embossing folders that I had. I tear up just thinking of the great loss. I've got a roll of forever stamps now that could last me the rest of my life. Most everything I do is on line or emailed. Every time you mention KS, I think of the Kwik Trip in Hutchinson. I frequented that place....such good sale prices and I loved their coffee too. Oh well, win some lose some.

Good Afternoon....
It started out dreary and very cool. It has now warmed up and the sun is shining. Should be a nice day.
I'm ready and sitting here waiting to leave in a few minutes. I'm going to a baby shower today...so that should be fun. Wonder if any games will be played? I hope we eat sooner than later cause I'm hungry. LOL DH just left for a bike ride.
Greenback and Mamma....my mother in law was always one that would talk and talk and talk and I never could get a word in. By time there was a chance to say something, the subject was changed and she was talking non stop again....LOL
Icook...hope you can get a nap in today.

I had plans to go to my friends but never made it. These days it is so hard to get my butt out the door.
I have a dr appt tues. Had a appt Mon for haircut but my beautician had a emergency.
I feel bad that I didn't get to my cousins service but I just couldn't make it.
I was so weak this morning that I got in the daybed and stayed for 2 hours.
I checked my blood glucose. It was 105. Pretty good.
So I had breakfast and hoping my coffee will give me a boost.
My friends birthday is in Aug. she has been talking about getting pint jars with handles ( she does crafts )
So I got her 6 jars of the best jelly in those jars. Assorted jelly. I put a pretty dish towel in a "red riding hood" basket 😊 bought 2 strawberry,2 apple, 1 red plum, and 1 grape.
Think she will like it.
I have to get feeling better, I hope so anyway. So I can do my trip.
Today my Dad would have been 110.

The usual Sunday here, church, lunch, computer and then Kindle. Not very exciting but quiet and restful. The sun is playing peek-a-boo in and out of the clouds. No rain expected till Thursday. Maybe we can dry out a little. Good news is that we have our first ripe tomato others can't be far behind! Can't wait for the BLT!
Every ones Sunday seems to be about as exciting as mine.
Mamma we all have friends that have faults we don't like here's something I heard long ago that has been a great help to me. Our friends are our friends in spite of all our faults! We prob say or do things our friends don't like. Try to be more tolerant she probably needs you in her life.
Time to get the Kindle out

Never got a nap, but laid down most of the afternoon. I decided to wash my bedspread. Just had some scrambled eggs & a piece of toast. That was lunch. A pork chop with cabbage & potatoes is cooking in my crock pot. That will be supper. It's still raining hard here. I didn't get dressed again today. Tomorrow Christina comes I'll be dressed then.

Grammy, I am tolerant, more so than anyone else. That is why I still go places with her, she has no one else, no one wants to be with her. I am more tolerant of a lot more than you can imagine.

Hi all, at the IL’s right now and home soon. Big dentist appt tomorrow, yay….Stuff at the NH is about the same, I’ll be back there on Tuesday after the History Center meeting. I’ll post when I get home.
