Good Morning Ladies - - - The phone woke me up, and got that business taken care of so early in the day! Then I had breakfast, and now I am needing that second cup of coffee! Soon that will happen! For some reason it really seems like Saturday to me - - You would think with the holiday this week, I would be behind, if any thing, not ahead. Hopefully, next week we can return to normal, whatever that is! No plans for today - I started to look through the papers I brought home from my sisters on the 4th, last night, but didn't make a very big dent in them, so may read more of them today. I also finished up the sausage, potato, and green bean dish I made last night, so need to think of something else for tonight - right now, nothing is speaking to me. I did cut the muskmelon I bought last Fri. yesterday. It tastes okay, but not very juicy. Not much happening around here yet, so will check back later.

Jane I bumped into you getting here.
Still muggy here & no relief in sight. Cloudy today. Only thing I'm doing the next two days is finish the dusting. Christina is coming three times next week as two of her clients are in the hospital or rehab.

Is everyone still sleeping or up and busy? No rain this morning but the sun has already behind the clouds. More rain is on the way.
Nothing exciting in my day just the usual things. Rain and heart rehab is about as exciting as it gets for me.
The girl next door will be a Sr in college this year and getting married in the Spring. She wants to do her own flowers, using artificial ones. She came to check out mine last night . Her colors will be yellow and white so she chose several things in those colors as well as a few vases. I said if they come back or not either way is fine. It's time to get rid of some things. One of the things she chose was pale yellow Iris that had belonged to dh's sister! She died more than 15 years ago. The flowers are still pretty and I have the rest of them minus the yellow! It was a fun time. She said I'm not spending $$$ on the wedding! I know the family could give her whatever she wanted. Maybe she is budgeting the $$ That's what we did when #2 got married said her is the amount we have. Spend it on the wedding or save it for something else. She spent about half of it on a nice home wedding and reception and enjoyed the rest for whatever she wanted.
Must be time to see what needs to be done. The battery on the weed eater needed to be charged it died before that job was finished. Maybe I can get that done before the rain starts.

Good morning, the sun has peeked in and out. No rain here but there's a slight chance. My lawn got mowed last evening so that should be good for at least another week. It had been 2 weeks and still wasn't too bad. I need to do some cleaning today and I have a return to make. I also will get my prescription refilled. That will most likely be this afternoon. The kids will be here tonight and I think we'll have sub sandwiches from Marco's.
GRAMMY What a sweet neighbor you have. Isn't it pleasant to see "maturity" in some of the younger generation. I think we have more of them than we think, they just don't get the recognition they deserve. I didn't realize you had so much rain down there. I think we could use more.
ICOOK You and Tinker will enjoy having Christina 3 days! She's a part of your family. Dusting! I do not like that job at all!!! LOL Enjoy the day.
GREENBACK I've had some melon this year and the only one that was good IMO was the watermelon. The honey dew and cantelope wasn't very good. I guess I'll stick with the watermelon. LOL The holiday messes me up too! Wednesday seemed like Monday to me.

Good morning. Warm and no breeze this morning. I didn't roll out of bed until 7 this morning but I woke up at my usual 6:30. The extra half hour of sleep was so nice. No rushing this morning I took my time with my routine. When I took Mandy out she didn't sit and stare into space like she usually does. I only had to tell her to go potty once.
My first cup of coffee is about done as is my cookie. Next will be to clean up and head to WM for a haircut. My usual stylist is gone for a couple weeks and my hair is way too long and looking terrible. I ant it cut and done before my injection so I don't have to raise my arms for a couple days to comb my hair. Even though it's not surgery I will have some restrictions for a few days.
I'm sweating bullets from the coffee so it's time to switch to ice water.
Happy Friday.

Good Morning....
It's much cooler and less humidity today. Feels really nice out there.
Penny & Teddy are here again today. We've already gone on a wagon ride around the block. The neighbor down the street is getting a new driveway and we are waiting for the cement truck to come. They have everything ready for it...so we are hoping it comes today so the kids can watch. After lunch and Teddys nap I might take them to the park to play on the play structure there. DD, DSIL and the kids are planning to go up north this weekend and all next week.
Have a great day everyone.....

CJ How's your DMIL doing today? It won't be long and Penny will be back in school. The summer is going fast! I hope the kids will be able to see the cement truck pour the cement.
MAMMA I love the hair cut you have on your avatar. It's a perfect "fit" for you. I hope you get a good one today.

I have just had breakfast. Also, walked out and picked 2 nice cucumbers from my plant in the yard. I would love to pull weeds around the watermelon that is in the flower bed. But, don't think that would be a good idea. I am not to steady on my feet. No energy and don't see any lurking around the corner. I can't do much at all. And, have to use my cane to get around, I had a rough night with my knee pain and of course the long lasting ankle pain that I have had for so long. The baby and his grandpa came down to visit. It is so nice to see him often. He is 3 and 1/2 months already. He loves the ceiling fan. I had a cousin to pass away, and they are having his services this evening. I feel like I should go but just don't think I can. In fact if I don't begin to do better I am cancelling my trip to Florida. Don't want to get somewhere and either get worse, or not be able to get home. I am due to go to the dr. for my blood work. Guess I call them today. There is not much going on here. Going to be hot again, but at least I can stay indoors. Hope everyone is doing well. Take care.

Woohoo, I am thrilled with my haircut. It's the best cut I've had in a long time. The gal totally understood me and the picture I showed her. Being my hair is so thick she thinned it just right on both sides. My right side is thicker and grows faster so she cut it accordingly. Elle, the cut I got is exactly like the picture on here, only a better job of all around cutting. Now to take a shower to get rid of all the little hairs before I shed all over the house. Be back in a bit.

Good afternoon. I thought I posted this a.m. but didn't. My computer wouldn't charge so I had to use the Yeti's charger and I am back in business! I met a lady at her house to get some rhubarb, #1 wanted some (about 10#-for who knows what?) and I wanted some more. I do have 6 quarts in the freezer already. My niece is going to take her son to Minneapolis at the end of the month and her daughter wants to come here so I think she and I will make some strawberry rhubarb jam for my sister, who is ironically, named Barb. She does so much for everyone and she said that that is the only way she likes rhubarb. I think she'll like that her granddaughter helped t make it. So, we'll dig out some cute jars-she gave me all of her canning stuff, and make some labels and have Lena take it back to her. She'll be so excited to do that. The rhubarb has been trimmed, now I need to cut it and bag it. I may just figure out how much I'll need for jam and put that in an ice cream pail, who knows.
I spent most of yesterday at Dad's, I did stop at the farm first but Al wasn't home-good-he needs to get out more. Dad was awake and slept a bit. I'll probably be back there tomorrow. Thanks for all of the thoughts, this stuff stinks.
Better get to my stuff on the counter. I heard they are playing Bingo tonight, not sure if I am included, really don't care either way. BBL

I’ve been home for an hour and a half and my ears are still ringing. Wendy called just as I got home from my haircut, and asked if I wanted to go to Sprouts for yogurt. Since I was out I happily said yes. But I needed to take a quick shower first to get all the little hairs off. My gracious Patty, Wendy did not stop talking for one second. It was constant all the way there and back home. I tried to have input but couldn’t get a word in any time. So I just gave up and pretended to listen. I was really just paying more attention on how to get there.
A quick sandwich for lunch and got my mail. That is it for my morning. I still have to make the bed.
I hope to do my exercise dvd this afternoon after I take Mandy outside. But I may not feel like it after the heat of outside hitting me.
My pastor and wife, Becky and Howard, from my Hutch church called me a bit ago. They didn’t want me to hear this at church on Sunday, but from them. They are retiring in September. OMG, they have been with that church for over 20 years and everyone loves them. They will be so very missed. I thought it was so nice that they called me and I didn’t hear it from somewhere else. I’m sure Dawn had a hard time not saying anything until they talked to me. Those two have done so much for Mark and I over the years. But we will stay in touch.
Well, I better get to my morning chores before it’s supper time. LOL
