Good Morning....
It's sunny, humid and very warm. Glad for the a/c.
It was a quiet day at my house yesterday. Only my mom came for our picnic lunch. Everything was good and it was nice to have her there. I know she enjoys coming. Missed Penny and Teddy, but I know they were having a blast up north. We will have them tomorrow and Friday.
Not many firecrackers last night. I could see a few from my patio on the street below me. Looked like a nice neighborhood celebration.
DH is on a bike ride in this humidity. Crazy!! He said he plans to ride 20 miles. He will be wiped out when he gets back.
Coffee is ready and it tasted especially good this morning. Have a great day.

Goodmorning grannies, it's a hot humid morning with sunshine and no rain in the picture until tomorrow! We did get afternoon showers yesterday but no rain on the parade or fireworks.
I've been out and back this morning so I'm enjoying my first cup of coffee this morning. I had to have blood drawn for the cardiac rehab program. Just for them, Medicare will not pay for this so a hospital voucher is issued for it. Must not be part of the usual plan because the person doing the blood draw was pretty confused by the paper work. Maybe she was new on the job. Anyway the job got done and no charge to me! Finally hone for the long awaited coffee,mmm. Now the day can get started!
CJ sounds like you had a nice relaxing day with your as your guest. Love those kids but sometimes a day or two off is wonderful and a chance to recharge the batteries. Rest up they will soon be back! Wow that's a long bike ride on a hot day, maybe a cold supper is in your plan for today.
I'll just take it easy till time for rehab this afternoon. I will be finished with it next Wed. I have lots of paper work to do by Friday. Just some assessment and dumb questions to be answered, how satisfied with...are you then #1,2,3,4... How satisfied are you with husband, lover, partner! Should I tell them he had been dead 15 years or skip it and let them guess??? Guess I need to start on the papers.

Good morning
Just hot and windy here this morning. But before it gets too terribly hot I need to make a trip to the UPS and to WM for some Miracle Whip and eggs. Coffee needs to be taken before I do anything. It's not that it's fully leaded but just the thought of coffee gives me an emotional boost to get on with the day. Not to mention my cookies. Mandy and I went out before I had my coffee since we got a later start.
All the fireworks and firecrackers had Mandy shaking like a leaf. I held her for as long as she would tolerate and then she hid in the corner by my chair. Whenever I got up she followed close behind. The noise didn't bother me cuz of my earplugs but I didn't sleep worth a hoot last night. I told Mandy it is a day of naps, or at least one good one.
Grammy, some of those questions they ask us are so silly. Some times I give a silly answers to them. LOL
CJ, I agree your DH is silly riding in the humidity. But it's his thing so I hope he does enjoy his ride and with no mishaps.

Hot/humid/sunny day here too. I'm still not complaining, I don't like winter. LOL Yesterday went smoothly and was good here. Just 3 of us but the food was good. DSIL grilled the steaks and they were done to perfection! We played a couple of games. That felt so good!! The kids have had a hard time with playing games here as that was what most every Friday with their dad was all about. But yesterday was good! I put fresh food in the hummingbird feeders. Yesterday I had a red headed (house finch) finch at their feeding socks. The first one I've seen this year. Today seems like a Monday to me, but it's coffee at the Cabin so that makes it Wednesday.
CJ Sometimes, small in number company is better than many. More time for personal time. I hope your DH took plenty of water. Enjoy your swing time before it gets too hot.
MAMMA I think of the animals when I hear thunder or fireworks. I've read of them getting out and running away, and can't be found. I've been hearing them here the past week and our town has their display Friday this week so I assume they'll continue until then.
GRAMMY I hate those questions too! and the wellness check up is even worse IMO. Stay inside and stay cool today. Your rehab will soon be complete! Good Job!!

Good Morning Ladies - - - AHA - - - - I have opened the house and have so "real" air again, for however long as I can. Yesterday was a day of changes for me - - first I was going to my sis's for the berries, then not until today, and then about a quarter to 3 she called and said I might want to run down and get them after all, as she was picking and they were piling up quickly, so I quick changed my clothes and went down there. She was in the berry patch and he was sitting under the tree in front of the house. I joined him and there was such a nice breeze it was really comfortable out there. I visited for about an hour and she wanted to start supper, but I said I didn't want to stay, so we got the berries in my pans and I headed home and was just about 6 when I got here. I have a load of laundry going, and when I finish my second cup of coffee, I will get at washing the berries and get most of them in hte freezer. They are all the purple/black ones - I didn't think to ask her if she doesn't have any of the red ones left or not. Should do a load of towels too,, but that may wait until tomorrow.
Glad your DH enjoys his bike rides CJ - 20 miles doesn't sound like a real good time to me, especially in H & H. I'm sure your Mom did enjoy here day with you - - a change of scenery is a big boost some days.
Grammy, sounds like graduation for you from the PT too. Those forms get to be a pain in the you know where. I wonder if anyone ever looks at them. Bet the girls had lots to talk about after the parade and water park.
Mamma, you will have to grab a cup that you can take with you to the dog park and you can sip away while Mandy is doing her thing. Hope you get back home again before it's too hot. Is potato salad on your menu? The first thing I though of with you needing eggs and MW.
Ellie, these holiday weeks can get confusing. Glad you can go to coffee today. We didn't have it this week, with the holiday being on Tuesday. Glad you got the games out again.

I have been to the water company n paid my
bill. Also to the DMV and got my military car
license plate. Then on to Walmart. My son
took me.
We drove through a hard rain on the way home.
I hope all of you had a great 4th.
This will be short as I need some more coffee.. ☕️
I came home and had breakfast and now I am
stuffed.

Good morning from chilly MN. It's a whopping 60* out and breezy. I see someone going by in a boat, that's got to be chilly, brr.
The Yeti is off to the IL's to see if the can figure out who can fix their pontoon, some kind of gas leak, asked if I wanted to go and I graciously passed. Two days in a row was good, with those being bookended by trips to the NHome. I came home last night, tired and frustrated and needed to bite my tongue. My brother came in and invited me to supper at their house, so I went there first and got home before 10pm. Had the house to myself for a while, it was nice. I'll go back probably tomorrow, but heard that there may be people at this house on Saturday, I pointed out I may not, so it's all on him, all of it. I was down in the basement trying to get some stuff taken care of and see someone peed on the floor down there, the guest dog couldn't look me in the eye and also found out that someone had been playing in the wax in one of my Scentsy warmers. Not the dog and I told Todd about it and that I was very unhappy and that I had to clean the mess off of the counter. I will mention it the next time the kids are here, that stuff just ticks me off. Ironically, I also saw that someone scratched something into the front of the bar in the garage at the IL's, pointed that to my SIL (from FL) and MIL was shocked that someone would do that? Hmmm, watch your kids!?!
Grammy, I have to fill those things out for Dad, I love how it says they are anonymous, but if you don't send it in, they call you. Huh?? Anyways, better get something done, and put some socks on too, my feet are cold. Hai to all and hugs to all.

Hot & humid here STILL & will be into next week, but like Elle said I'd rather have this than winter. No sun right now either. Got done with lunch a short while ago. I don't eat normal times anymore.
CJ A lot of fire crackers going off here last night I went to be at 11:30 & people were still shooting them off.
Jane A load of laundry done here today also.
Mamma Tinker wasn't happy last night with the fireworks either. She was starring at me to go to bed so she could join me.

Made a quick trip to Kroger for a few things. The kids will be here tomorrow so I wanted to make sure I have what they like. Teddy is the pickiest eater I have ever seen. Not much he will eat.
Lauriet...sounds like those kids need a stern talking to about other peoples property.
We will have left overs for supper tonight...although one of the salads I made didn't sit well with DH so he probably won't eat that one. Might need to think of something else for him to have with the other things.
It's 90 here and humid. Not a good day to be outside.
