Everyone must be busy this morning. Nice day & the sun is shining. Not doing much today. Have to make the macaroni salad.
Today would have been Earl's & my 24th wedding anniversary.

May your memories be comforting this memorial day! They're having a service at the cemetery here and it is packed. It's a beautiful, going to feel like summer, kind of day. But the humidity is very low so it should be good. The kids will be here in just over an hour and we'll be grilling burgers, sausage and brats. No eating outside though. LOL UPDATE They found the body of the person who escaped from prison last week, the one who painted our garage door OSU picture. He was found floating on a river near Henderson Ky. They thought he had been there maybe up to 5 days.
ICOOK HAPPY 24TH anniversary! I hope the memories will be a comfort to you and the tears are allowed to flow. Hugs and prayers for you.

Good morning.
It is another beautiful morning here. The noisy bird is still yacking away in the tree across the treat. Man oh man is he loud and noisy. I wish it were a song bird and not some noise machine. hehehe But it is what it is. Hot and windy the rest of the day. Good day to stay inside, IMO
Nothing planned here, just another day of the week. That is not saying that I don't respect the significance of the day, I just have no plans.

Goodmoring grannies, it's a bee u tee full morning temp is already in the 70s with low humidity, sunshine and blue skies. No sign of rain in the 10 forecast. It's getting dry a few showers would be welcome to help the garden grow!
Mamma nothing special going on here today. I know each special day is one more day to remember your dh, Try to focus on the good times. This from Dr Suess helped through some hard times. "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened" Give thanks for the years you had together.
Elle I saw that an escaped prisoner was found in the river and wondered if that was the one who did you painting. A day for you to enjoy your family
IC remember the good times today. The Dr Suess quote is a great truth.
Did anyone watch the Memorial Day concert, last night? A great tribute to all who have served in out armed forces. A time to remember those who didn't come home. Those little old men from the wars always put a tear in my eye. There was a tribute to the POW and it was a very heart wrenching thing to think of the years many of them spent as POW. How thankful we should be for them and others.

Good morning Ladies. Another great day, it has been a beautiful weekend, weather wise. I'm still tired, and not walking very good. So far, all I have managed is coffee, breakfast and a load of laundry now in the dryer. I need to hit the shower, so I can get on with my day. O, I did do a small grocery order to be picked up early afternoon. I mostly got fruit for coffee tomorrow, and added a box of coffee pods that will be going off sale in a couple of days.
IC, I agree with Grammy. .that is a great verse to keep in mind as we remember happier days gone by. Hugs
Ellie sure sounds like a good meal you are sharing. Enjoy the company and conversation.
Mamma, like you, nothing planned here either, except to get ready for tomorrow's coffee. I will be making a rhubarb crisp, and setting the table later.
Carolyn, your little one is growing fast. Enjoy the tomes you get to spend with him.

Hi everyone! I'm sitting here in the quiet for a while. Tj & Kate left to go back to their home, they need to deal with the insurance co about the car. I think they are going to get a rental for a few days in the interim. We went to the Memorial Day services this morning, then to the IL's for the lunch they do after. I left when #1/DIL did as I needed help moving a shelf out of my car and up to my space, the Yeti said if I didn't want to come back-I had his truck-his dad would bring him back after they go pick up plants at the cemetery, so I do believe I'll just sit for a bit. I may even take a few minutes to check my eyelids for holes as I didn't sleep for beans last night. I am so glad I did not cancel this dr appt, digging up and putting all of the raspberry plants in here has done a number on my knee. I'll BBL, blessed be.
