Good Morning...
It's a chilly start but going to warm up. I'm trying to wait a bit before heading to the swing in hopes that it will warm up more. It's 53* right now. I really want to have my coffee on my swing.
Hoping today DH will till up the garden. I really need to get these plants in the ground. He doesn't seem to be to interested in getting it done.
Tonight I'm taking a cookie decorating class with the school lady friends. Should be fun. We try to do something fun as a group as often as we can.
Yesterday I bought a flower basket to put in the decorative garden cart that we found in someones trash. A little paint and it looks like new.
Guess I will see if it's warm enough yet for the swing. Have a great day everyone........

Goodmornig grannies, it's a beautiful day in this corner of the neighborhood! Sunshine and temps will be in the upper 70s this afternoon! Humidity is low. These are the days we dreamed of when snow and cold were what we had.
CJ nice find by dh and good job painting and planting. It looks great. Isn't it fun to claim someone's throwaways! We have a few of those treasures too. DD saw a glass top patio table quickly called dh to come with the van so they could claim it! A little sanding and painting and now we have two matching tables on our deck. We also have a swing by the pool that was sitting out next door a phone call and it is now by the pool! What fun to give those items another life.
Just the usual ho-hum day for me it will be rehab this afternoon and hopefully some time in the flower beds. I did some rearranging of the pots dgd put by my door now I like it better. She has somethings left after Mother's Day and brought them to the house. I think some of the Coleus and Begonia will go to the flower beds and look good there.
I've enjoyed some sun time this morning and not much else has been done. I did sweep the patio so that's my work day

I'm stripping my bed today. Putting the flannel sheets away & getting my summer breadspread out. I'll be washing everything so that will keep me busy today.

Good morning.
Another hot one today. Sunny, bright blue sky, no breeze and right now it's already 84 at 7:45.
Yesterday I organized the porch so I can use the PowerXL air fryer oven out there. But sadly the cord AND the plug got HOT. So I pulled the plug on that idea, so to speak. hehehe Not sure why that happened. I've never had that happen in the house. This morning I plugged in the George Foreman grill (little one) and it was just fine. I'll try a heavy duty extension cord on the oven as soon as George cools off. Not sure it will work, but it's worth a try. The PowerXL has a grill plate that makes great steaks, but it stinks up the whole house, so I thought I would use it outside since the outlet is now fixed. The rest of the day all I did was sit in front of the tv. I even fell asleep for an hour and a half again.
Last night I took a sleeping pill and finally got a much better nights sleep. But I can't take them more than once in a few days or I get light headed from over use. At least that is what I'm thinking causes the lightheadedness.
CJ, I love you new flower cart and the arrangement. It is so very pretty.
Grammy, have fun in the flower beds. Good luck at rehab too.
IC, it will feel so good crawling into bed tonight with all your clean bedding. 
Back to the porch to see is I can make the little oven work in the new plug in out there.........

Hello Ladies - - - It's just noon and I am just getting here. It's 71 and sunny, and like Grammy said, the kind of days we have been waiting for. I slept in this morning and then got the washer going and now the dryer, have the dishwasher going and have washed my strawberries in the vinegar bath. My friend stopped by with my credit card and return slip - she was going to do that last weekend, but had a change of plans and didn't go until yesterday. Don't know what hit me yesterday, but all of a sudden I needed to get to the bathroom and then while I was sitting there, I started to gag and thought I was going to vomit, but I couldn't get up, and had nothing to hold it, so just kept trying to keep from doing it and finally made it work - - I did have a stomach ache all day though, and didn't go to the graduation party.
CJ, nice find on your garden cart, and how nice you have it looking now. Have fun with the cookies tonight. Hope you get some pictures of them before they are gone.
Grammy, my PT isn't until tomorrow. Hope it go's well for you. None of mine are that hard, but I know I have done something when I'm done. Glad you got your flowers arranged to your liking, as you are the one to enjoy them.
IC, nothing like crawling into bed with those fresh sheets, especially when you change from one season to another.
Mamma, would you need to have the wiring upgraded to 220? I know some of the appliances seem to need that. It would be nice if you could use it out on the porch.

Washed the bedding & clean sheets are on the bed. Just have to put the bedspread on.

Good evening, It's late but it's been a busy exciting few days. Today I was trying to catch up on all the things that didn't get done earlier and fixed some food items too. The wedding was beautiful!! The bride and groom were absolutely glowing and the sun was shining bright during the ceremony. (initially it was calling for rain and cool temps,) DSIL performed the ceremony for his daughter and now son-in-law. Sob,sob!! :-( The reception was a different story, it got cool and the wind picked up. But the dancing and celebrating continued. They sent the bride and groom off with sparklers as they left. It was a precious time! Thanks for letting me share. Many many pictures were taken and I have some on my digital picture frame. But I didn't take any knowing I would get them from the photographer and others. I don't know how to get them on the GN but there are some already on facebook. I took a 1 1/2 hr. nap yesterday and 45 minute nap today. I am tired!
I'm expecting a phone call shortly so will just say TTYL.

Well, I do believe it's the cord on the toaster oven that is not correct. The outlet does fine, it's brand new and everything else works fine plugged into it. The HD extension cord didn't get hot at all but the cord on the PowerXL oven gets hot. The cord was not the correct one for that appliance, IMO. Someone screwed up in assembly. Too late to take it back.
Not one thing, other than one load of laundry this morning, got done today. All I want to do lately is sit and do nothing, and then I fall asleep for an hour or so. Not like me at all. Too lazy to even make my steak supper. Maybe tomorrow. I had cold cereal for lunch and maybe that again for supper. At least I get my milk then. hehehe
Elle, so happy that the wedding and such turned out so well. I know you had a wonderful time too.
