Good morning to you!!!! There is coffee, help yourselves. Breakfast is over and the dishwasher is finishing up. I don't think today will be warm as yesterday, but we'll see. Speaking of seeing, there is a plant that was in dire need of water, I hope it pulls through. I transplanted some tiger lilies, irises, variegated Hosta, and a pink and a white bleeding heart yesterday. Started with a bucket to water from the spigot, ended with another from the lake. On my way to getting some more color in the yard, I am going to get some lilies from the neighbor too. Should get off my butt and accomplish something sooner than later, maybe later....blessed be everyone.

This morning when I got home from Mandy's jaunt, a neighbor stopped over and commented how nice my new flowers looked. That was so nice to hear. I'm gradually getting the front to have better eye appeal. Last night I saw Chris and asked him if he could help me move the table from the front to the porch, when he had time. He said how about now? So now that is done. After church I'll get the porch organized. I have a spot set up to put my counter top air fryer oven. It has a grill plate and makes a great steak and burgers. Much better than the electric grill that I had. That area will be my outside kitchen, so to speak. When I get the porch done, I'll have Chris over for burgers. He has helped us several times and I owe him. Being single he should like a home cooked meal.
That will be all I can do in a day. So the rest of the day I'll just relax. I'm really good at relaxing. LOL
Laurie, I just love bleeding hearts. Too bad the pretty "blossoms" don't last all summer. Oh how I miss my flower gardens and such.
Jane, Judy is my backdoor neighbor and friend. We had such a nice visit yesterday.
Elle, so what's the scoop on the wedding? I'm sure it was beautiful and you had a great time.

Good Morning Ladies - - - It's a lovely day with sunshine. Perfect day for graduation and those having their parties today. I am invited to the people that bought my house later today and then next Sat. to a party in Decorah for one of their grad's. The grads from our church were recognized today and then there was coffee and rolls afterwards, so 10:30 when I got home and no stop at KS today. I would like to get a nap in before I go! Wil see how it all pans out. I had a special surprise in church this morning. Before it started, a gal I know came over to where I was sitting and said she had something for me and not to take right off afterwards. It turn's out that she had a jar of home canned meatloaf for me. She does a lot of canning and I know she can's beef and chicken so when I saw this post on FB with a receipe to can meatloaf, I forwarded it to her and said it made me think of her. So she tried it and brought me a jar to try! I;m anxious to do so, but it won't be today.
Laurie, You are getting your yard all beautified. I had a bleeding heart here when I came, it was very pretty and lasted a long time, but I just couldn't control it, and it kept getting bigger and bigger. It took a couple of years, but I finally got rid of it. It just wanted to take over everything.
Mamma, bless Chris's heart for the help he is giving you. I'm sure he will love to share that burger with you and it will be a good meal for both of you. It always tastes better when you have someone to eat with. My neighbor has a couple of hanging baskets that have silk flowers in them, and they are just beautiful. In fact, I didn't know they were and told her how nice I thought they looked.
Ellie, I bet you are a tired but happy Grannie today and filled with lots and lots of happy memories of the day.
Debbie, I hope you are feeling better each day not too.
I just saw on FB this morning that a guy I use to work with and his wife were in an accident in S.C. while at or coming home from a DGS's graduation. He was dismissed from the hospital and she will need surgery. I hope it isn't too serious.

It's a beautiful sunny day with temp at 70 and getting a bit warmer this afternoon. I', looking forward to the 80s that will be here in another day. I'm always cold maybe I can get warm them. The AC is on for the others but I have the vents closed down here. I know it's the meds I take and could be the age also!
Laurie I have bleeding heart and it's one of my favorite flowers. Hope yours grows well in it's new place. How nice of the neighbor to share the plants with you. The ones we get from friends are the ones we like best! I brought a few of those along with me when I moved here. Memories!
Mamma how nice to have a neighbor to lend a hand when you need some help.
Greenback lots of parties now so take time to enjoy each one and the friends that you will see there.
I'm heading out to sit in the warm sunshine now. Soon it will too H&H to be out there

Good Afternoon....
We went to the pancake breakfast this morning. It was a nice morning, so we walked to the fire station. One of the firemen is a dad from when I worked at the preschool. I saw three of his kids, which I must say, they have really grown. Time just keeps on going on. I was well sugared up by time I got home...lol
I've been out working in the garden and planting flowers in pots. We found a garden decoration cart in someones trash the other day. We brought it home and DH painted it. It looks like new. I bought a pretty mixed flower pot to put in it. Love when people through good things away and we score..LOL
Grammy...my mouse earred coreopsis is getting ready to bloom. Always adds a nice touch of color to the garden.
Mamma...so nice to have good neighbors to visit with and also lend a hand when needed.
Lauriet...YAY schools out. Now you can get to those things you haven't had time to do and also enjoy that lake view.
Tonight is the finale of American Idol. Two of my favorites are in the top three.

Sun is peeping in & out today. Trying to warm up. Slept till 11 again this morning. Can't do that during the week with my Meals On Wheels being delivered. I have a chicken breast cooking in the oven to eat. Think I'll have a salad with it. Almost done swiffing the floors. Just a few dishes to wash later. Saw a burnt spot in my oven. Something cooked over. Don't know how. I'll clean that tonight.
Grammy I'm cold today. Sinuses have been bad this past week. Feel very achey. I'm laying down a lot.

Greenback...just noticed that I missed you when I was posting. Didn't mean to do that. Anyway....I'll be interested on how you liked the canned meatloaf when you try it. Never heard of that before. Hope your friends that were in the accident will be okay.
Icook...I have never slept that late before. But I'm an early bird, morning person, so I'm always up early. Morning is one of my favorite times of the day.
Got more things planted. I kept saying this is all I'm doing for today and then before I could put things away, I was finding more things to plant in pots. At least most of it's done now.
Hamburgers for supper and maybe tater tots.
