Grammy, I was wondering where everyone was too. Must be a sleep in or a busy morning start.
Partly cloudy, warm and windy today. Today I go to my PCP for some advice on my shoulder, check my blood pressure and hope to remove a mole or whatever it is from my eyebrow. Not sure a PCP does anything anymore than sit behind the desk but I'm going to ask anyway. Either that thing gets removed or I'll end up picking it off. And I'm sure that would not be a good thing. After the doctor I need to stop at the bank, I never have cash and need it to pay for my brake repair, whenever that will be. I may stop at the $TREE for some fake flowers for the flower pots out front. Real ones don't live in the summer heat. And I want flowers outside this year. Mark got to nice gray pots last year for flowers but we never got that far. So this year I want to get it done.
Not much else happening here, just the same ole same ole.
Blessings to all.

The frustration of growing older!@#$ I had a post on here and there was a very looong empty space at the end of it. I can't get rid of it so I deleted it; The cursor and backspace don't do anything.
Sunny but hazy today the temp will be in the 60s can you believe that next week it will be in the 80s every day! Wondering if some of the haze is from the fires in Canada?
The only excitement for today will be dinner out with the two dgds. Chef has a cooking class so he won't be with us and the rest of the family is on a little trip.I might venture out to check on the weeds after some lunch. I might even pull a few of them. I'm doing less and less each summer. Dgd is working in the veg. garden she had some friends help with the planting then the cold night sent her out to cover those tomatoes and peppers!
The Oriole had been here to check out the hummer feeder but didn't seem to see anything that looked good so he left to check out the neighbors feeders.
I've been moving some knick knacks around some put away and different ones put out. I do like to see the different things that family and friends have given me. Must be time to check out the fridge and see what I can find for lunch then a little time outside

It was a cool 39* when I got up this morning. The sun has been shining so it looks warmer than it is. I have a load of laundry going, in the process of making pretzel salad, and a jello dessert. Tomorrow is the rehearsal dinner and that's what I'm taking. I have snicker doodles that will go for the wedding day and will be put out during the time between the wedding and reception. I'm getting excited! I want to clean the family room and kitchen then I think it'll will be time to do what I want to do....LOL
MAMMA It sounds like an errand running day for you. I hope you get some answers and good results. Today I could use a few degrees of your hot weather. I might take a walk after getting everything else done.
GRAMMY I've given up trying to figure out what goes wrong with the computer and all the techie things. I just hope the kids/DGC will come and help me fix them. LOL I think dinner out with the dgc is a special time. I know you will enjoy it. Is it a special restaurant you'll go to?

Good Afternoon....
The temps are in the low 50's right now. It feels nicer in the sun than in the shade.
The kids are here today instead of tomorrow. We switched days this week. That's why I didn't get here this morning. Had things to do before getting them. We've been out to play, colored, watched Bluey (one of my favorites too.) and hoping she will ride her bike in a bit. Might take her to the park to play and feed the fish in the river, too.
Tomorrow should be warmer and hoping DH gets the garden space ready for planting. I've got my tomatoes so need to get them in the ground.
Elle...exciting times with the wedding coming up.
Mamma...hope your dr visit goes well.
Grammy...that will be a nice time with the DGDs.
Have a great day.........

Good afternoon, friends. It is a glorious day here; sunshine, low humidity and about 80 degrees. Maintenance put new screen in the sliding patio doors at the front of the apartment and I have that door open as well as the bedroom windows. I have stew meat topped with cream of mushroom and French onion soup on low in the crockpot and that will get served over noodles for our supper along with either peas or a salad. It will be salad if I go to the store and get some, otherwise it will be peas from the freezer. I have two garlic biscuits left and there is peanut butter pie for dessert.
I enjoyed my walk this morning and my bike ride--until I found myself off the bike and in the (thankfully) thick mulch underneath a small tree in the parking lot of the nursing home across the road. I don't know what happened, I think I clipped the curb of the planter area around the tree and, next thing I know, down I go. I boogered up the side of my face and my arm and my shoulder and that knee are getting sore, but nothing major done, at least that I know of. My dignity took a beating, though. Thankfully only one person saw me. She offered assistance, but I just got up slowly and dusted the mulch off myself as best I could, thanked her, and continued my ride. I am a klutz! How fitting that I crash my bike in a nursing home parking lot--maybe I should just go apply for a room there??!! My glasses are banged up and, if Mike can't get them fixed when he gets home, I'll have to go somewhere to get the nose piece straightened and them readjusted. Ooops, just found another piece of bark/mulch in my hair!
Mamma, I visited one of the local Dollar Trees here this morning; I needed a couple of birthday cards and a graduation card.
Grammy, enjoy your dinner out; we'll want to know where you went and what you had, of course! I hadn't heard about any fires in Canada?
Elle, if that is the strawberry pretzel salad you're making, can you save a piece for me? I love that and have only made it once. I had trouble with the jello top layer setting up and haven't made it since. You should indeed be excited about the upcoming wedding! We'll want to hear all about it and PICTURES!
CJ, hope Penny does better on her bike than I did! Our two tomatoes in the planters on the patio are doing good so far. They were smaller than usual when we started them.
I may make a run to Target, keep myself moving so I don't get even more sore from being so clumsy! Wishing all a great day.

It was a busy day for me. Christina stayed five hours today. She cleaned the bathroom & mopped the floors. I do the dusting & dry swiffing on weekends. We took Tinker to the vet for her shot & the vet to see her. She said to keep an eye on the growth on her back. She gets her physical in August. It will get checked then. We picked up some meds. for me & a quick stop at the grocery store to get some chip steaks. I can make sandwiches at night for my supper.
Glad you didn't get hurt badly. You'll be sore for a few days I'm sure. I take falls occasionally. Almost fell in the bathroom room the other night. Put my hands on the toilet to stop the fall.

Hello - -- It was off this morning to our monthly lunch with the HS friends - - - One came here and then I drove this week, and we stopped and picked up another one and met the other one there. We sit around and chat for the afternoon - - Left here at 10:30 and got home at 4:45. A full day -- I had a good cheeseburger and steak fries so won't need much for supper.
Ellie, enjoy the weekend, and I am also looking forward to hearing about it.
I will catch up with the rest of you tomorrow.

DEBBIE The pretzel salad is done BUT! I did have a problem with it setting up. It just didn't. So I got 2 boxes of jello and did everything the same way and it set up! Go figure. So I'm ready to go now.
As for pictures, I do not know how to get them from my phone or computer to the GN. However, I have a feeling there will be pictures posted on Facebook and hopefully those interested will be able to see them on FB.

Good evening all. I got home from school after a quick stop at the public library for a book that I had requested and tomorrow should be my last day of school. I'll be in the same room tomorrow, this school gets out next Friday and the other one next Thursday. Hubby is doing a zoom meeting later, he said he had a stomach ache when I got home and was snoozing, so he'll do the meeting from here. I was to have one too, but I cancelled on mine. I was driving to school and there is a spot in a dip in the road where they must've taken out a culvert and replaced it, kind of an "anti-speed bump" I guess, the other day someone really veered to the other lane to find the best spot. My drive to school has greatly increased from the five or six minute one that I had in CF. I saw a big Jake turkey and two hens this morning on our road.
Todd drove his dad to a dr appt for a stress test yesterday, long story short is that there was confusion on when the appt was and where and turns out there wasn't one. Someone told him, it wasn't on his mychart, who knows? I asked if he had done he pre-check in, apparently not. That was an hour and a half drive that was not worth it.
I had made some Mac and cheese the other day and put it in the crock pot, it got pretty pasty so I looked up how to make Mac and cheese bites to use up the leftovers like the ones that you can get as an appetizer. They tasted good but were not pretty, so I'll have to look at some other recipes. I followed that with some strawberries and I'm done for the night, I just need to clean up the mess that I made on the stove. Graduation is tomorrow night in CF, I work til almost 3:30 and knew I wouldn't make it to the ceremony and decided I'll make a trip down for a grad party that is in mid-June. Boy is this random, I'm thinking it will be an early night.
