Good morning everyone, there is fresh coffee, help yourselves.
Well, we may be pup-less within a week. I am to meet someone on Saturday to take one and the Yeti knows of someone else interested. It's been a long and un-planned haul, but they are super sweet and well worth it.
Five days left for me, I am counting down as I keep adding to my to-do list and not getting much to-done. First thing though will to NOT set my alarm to 5 a.m. every day.

Good Morning....
It's sunny and bright out there. Looks like a nice day.
We are getting ready to meet my mom. She needs a new storm door and wants DH's help getting what she needs. We'll check out Lowes and Menards.
Not much happening.....have a great day.

Nice day here today & sun is shining. Not doing anything today. Weekends I do some dusting & dry swiff floors. During the week Christina takes over.

Good morning
Yesterday I didn’t do one darn thing. Morning I watched on line church with the Hutchinson church, then at 10:30 I went to church here. I was going to stop for some lunch but everything was so busy and my arm was so sore that I just gave up and went home. Sometimes my arm hurts too much making eating painful.
After church Wendy asked if Mandy would get along with her dog and cat. I thought that was an odd question. And then….. She offered for me to stay with her to convalesce. That was so unexpected and nice. She knows I’m worried about caring for or leaving Mandy if I were to or when I have surgery. She would drive me crazy, but the offer really touched my heart.
All day I just had a pity party, I did nothing but pout and cry. I was not fit to be around. Everything set the tears to flowing. Just one of those days.
It is starting out as a beautiful morning, sunny, 68 and no wind. But by afternoon it will be hot and breezy. I’ll have Big Ben tied up for a few days again. Wednesday it will be in the low to mid 80s again and cooler in the morning. Then I plan to bake another batch of cookies. This last batch was too small. I don’t think we will see too many more if any lower temps for some time.
No plans for today, but I really need to get cracking on making the cards or at least finishing the ones that I have started. I have to be in the right mood and then I’ll go like crazy.
Wednesday I’m going to wash the porch and that side of the house and windows. I got some kind of cleaner that attaches to the hose. I hope it works well. I just have to figure out how to cover the cords for the outside accent lights and camera. Garbage bag to the rescue I suppose. Who knows maybe I'll do that today. I'm in the mood. hehehe
Time to get the bed made and put the dishes away from yesterday.

I used a store bought bottle of cleaner that connects to the garden hose to clean the porch windows, floor and walls. Since the idiot that built the porch had it slant towards the door/house, I had to get a carwash brush and work my arm and butt off to get the water off of the tiles/porch. I wish I had a squeegee. Water can't sit on the tiles or the grout will crack after awhile. So now my arm and arthritis in my hands are very angry with me. But everything on that part of the place looks so nice and clean. Now that I have the bottle I can make my own solution and clean the rest of the home, but not all in one day, and not today. I'm so happy that I got that job done, it really looked awful before.
In an hour or so an electrician is coming to put in a new ground fault outdoor outlet (covered) on the porch. I noticed that the one out there now appears to have melted. From what I've no idea. But I know enough to not use it. If my husband were here he could fix it. He could do most anything. Now, what I can't do I have to pay to have done. And there is always something, or so it seems. When I washed the house water hit that outlet and it was not happy, it screamed a funny noice at me. That scared the jeepers out of me.
I'm all done with doing anything else today. I just can't do anymore....other than eat. LOL My recliner will be occupied the rest of the day by my butt. hehehe
The wind has picked up so I'll be closing up earlier than I had planned. I don't want all that dirt in the house. It won't be long and the a/c will be turned on too. It's already 86º outside.

I'm late. It's been a cloudy day and looked/s like rain but nothing so far. The temp got to 60* and that was it. I've been cold all day. I went to Kohl's and got a couple of new tops, on sale and a 30% off coupon. Then I stopped at Aldi's for some cream of tartar. They didn't have any. Bummer. I made Snicker Doodle cookies this afternoon. I think it's the first time I've made them. Anyway, they turned out good, even without the cream of tartar. Just a little flatter but taste good.
LAURIE Do you have plans for the summer?
CJ I just had a new storm door put on last week and happy with it. How nice your DH can do it.
ICOOK An easy day for you. Enjoy it.
MAMMA It's ok to cry. I still have crying days and it's been over 4 years. Sundays are hardest for me. Church definitely helps me though. I think my body would hurt too if I did all you did today. Take care of those arms and back!

Hi, not too sure the plan for the summer. I was invited to two graduation parties in a couple of weeks, I know they will be very busy, so I think I'll opt out for two that are later-mid June actually. I'm sure I'll see the same people and I'll take a couple of extra days. I guess it all depends if the kids will be around and what is up with the parents. One thing that I am going to not do is use my alarm. Here and there is one thing, but every day at 5 am is getting old fast. Picked up another 1/2 day today, but all will be done the week before Memorial Day.
We just put the dock in, looks crooked, but that's just fine. The dogs had fun running around while we were there and the pups are getting really used to the water too.
Supper was stir fry and there will be ice cream in a bit, yum!
