Hey! Guess what?!? The ice is off of the lake! Woohoo! It's to be about 66* today and sunny, maybe spring is actually here. Tomorrow, I am cleaning off my clotheslines so I can start hanging things out. I prefer stuff dried on the line, but will floof whatever has to be done in the dryer. We met #1 and his friend, the unsuccessful turkey hunters, for supper last night at a tavern near us, they'll head home today as they are going to a wedding reception tonight, #1 has to go home and pick up DIL and the friend (Ezra) has to go get his sweetie. The yeti made omelets for breakfast, so I'll just take some fruit for lunch~I'm going to sit and ice my knee for a bit before I finish getting ready for my day in kindergarten. Three days next week and two the following and that's a wrap. I went down on both knees and my left elbow pretty hard about a week ago and this one is still bothering me. I sat on the floor in the gym yesterday for the spring program practice, I'm sure the grace of me sitting down there was only surpassed by the extreme effort to get up and make it not look like a feat of strength and endurance. I wonder if there is an Ironman type event for those with wonky knees and other body parts? Get down, get up, move around, all while making it look easy and w/o tears? Best finish my coffee and look towards gathering my stuff that I seem to haul with me every day and get a move on. Blessed be.

Good Morning....It's CJ in case my name doesn't show up.
The sun is shining and looks to be a very nice day. The kids will be here soon and I'm sure we'll be playing outside a lot today. Might take them to the park playground, too.
Ok...what's up with this post??? It's saying I'm a guest. Hmmm
Lauriet...the countdown is on.

Good morning.
Up early, chilly 60ยบ, sunny and no wind. Last night the wind really got nasty for a bit. Anything the wiggled, banged and drove Mandy crazy.
Busy day today, vacuum out the car, make cookies, get the sale stuff at Fry's and clean the floors, or at least hit them with the dust mop.
But before I do or go anywhere, Mandy needs to make her trip outside and I need to finish my coffee. These chilly mornings the coffee slides down good.

Goodmorning grannies, it looks and feels like spring might have arrived last night! Sunshine and the temp is 66!
Laurie, sorry to hear that you are still hurting from the fall. The getting up and down is a problem for this grannie. A few places have chairs with an inch or so added height but most are regular height. I am not the picture of gracefulness when getting up!
CJ everything looks the same as I post. Hope you don't get lost.
I did get out to the weed patch AKA flower beds. Lots of weeds need to be pulled. I was so discouraged to find out how little I got done in the hour that I was able to work. This is rehab day I don't know if I will get any more of those weeds out today.
A couple of little Carolina Wrens are hanging around the top of a deck post. They are ignoring the cute little house and prob looking for a nesting place.
I'm heading outside to sit in the sun for awhile
AKA flower beds!

Sun is in & out again today. Maybe a shower or two this afternoon. Tomorrow the warm up starts. Upper 60's to low 70's. Allergies are bad right now. I feel YUCKY There is a guest speaker here today with Bingo too, but I decided not to go.

Good Morning Ladies - - - Yes, I'm back, for however long it lasts - - - I didn't get up until 9, another night when I lay awake much more than sleep, but along comes morning, and I can then catch a few Z's. I have the front door open, letting in some light and fresh air - it's 60 now and sunny, so a good day - - -
Laurie, sorry to hear you went down and that you are hurting - my neighbor and I were just talking about getting out of the power recliners when the power go's off. With the power outage last week, it brought it to mind, and lucky for us, neither of us were in it!! It did cause me to check to see if it had battery backup, and I looked in the remote, and couldn't see how that could open, then as we were talking, I said I bet they would be in the box behind the chair, and we looked, and yes, that is where they go, but none were in it - - It has them in now, so shouldn't have to worry about getting caught. My sister and BIL and their son and SO all got turkeys.
CJ, the kids will love being outside today - - Not much happening here today either!
Mamma, that was good news that the car was far less than you expected. I wasn't desperate for groceries, but there were a few specials that I wanted to get before tomorrow's last day of the add.
Grammy, easy going - - You need to save your strength for the PT. You have so much ambition, and need to remember that you can't do it all in a day. I will be starting PT on Monday.
IC to bad you don't feel up to getting out - that is always so good for us, even if we think we don't want to go. At least that is what I have found out for myself. I can very easily talk myself out of going places, but when I do, I am so glad that I did.

Good afternoon, sunny and 76* here and no complaints from me!! A beautiful day and a few more to follow!! I hope spring has sprung. LOL A busy day! I have the house cleaned, the 3rd load of laundry in the dryer, last one!! and I went to the bank, and $$ General. I need to fold the last load of clothes, towels then I think I'm done. DD will be here later this afternoon/evening. It's subs for supper. I'll be getting up early tomorrow, probably around 4:30a.m. My youngest DGS graduates from college. He graduates at 10:00 and it's about a 3 hour drive. A week from today is the rehearsal dinner for DGD and fiance, then next Saturday is the wedding. So! exciting time and busy also.
LAURIE I hope the "boo-boo" goes away soon!
CJ Did you have a problem getting Teddy and Penny to come inside? Did you take them to the park? Beautiful weather for that.
MAMMA I enjoy a clean car too. But, it doesn't always happen. LOL I'm glad Mandy is feeling better too.
GRAMMY I have the hummingbird food made and the feeders cleaned and ready to put outside. I also put some Oriole food out. I googled as to when they come to NW Ohio and it said the end of March, beginning of April. So I have their food out. But, I think I need to change it's location because it isn't high and I wonder if they would see it better and more come if it's higher. The past 2 years, they ate at the hummingbird feeders.
ICOOK Those nasty allergies! I hope you feel better soon. What do you take for it?
GREENBACK So happy you made your way back to the GN!! I count on my computer to "entertain" me. LOL And when it's "sick", well, I'm not a happy camper.

I'm so proud of myself, I cleaned and vacuumed the inside of the car. Mark had a large shop vac sitting outside the shed, but I couldn't handle the filthy thing. Then I remembered we once had a smaller one. And sure enough it was in the shed. That one worked well for me. Vehicles get so darn dirty here in the desert.
This morning I was in luck at Fry's. They had the butter, and ice cream that was on sale (I stock up when on sale). And I splurged and got some crab legs that were also on sale. I LOVE crab legs dipped in melted butter. Mark would help me crack them open once my arms and hands got tired, but I just have to treat myself and hope for the best. I've earned this special treat. And at 50% off, it was a good deal too. Guess what my supper will be? ? LOL
Then this afternoon Judy and I went to Hobby Lobby. They had card stock on sale for 40% off. Can't beat that. I also got a bin that holds my ready made cards perfectly, no squishing or bent corners anymore.
I just finished a snack and some water. Now to reorganize my paper. Gee, I spend more time organizing than making cards. LOL It's just as much fun as making the cards. Well, to me it is anyway. hehe

Glad you had such a good day today, Mamma! That's great. I picked up my grocery order also, and there were a couple of things that they didn't have and didn't sub something else for it. I will be fine without them. Enjoy your treat tonight.
Ellie you have a very busy and very exciting month of May - I know you will enjoy every one of those special days. Are the grandkids brother and sister or cousins?
