OVEN FRENCH TOAST: 1 1/2 C. brown sugar (packed) 1 stick butter 4 T. light corn syrup 1 loaf French bread-cut in l in. slices 8-10 eggs 2 1/2 C milk 1/2 C sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon
In sauce pan cook and stir brown sugar, butter and corn syrup just until butter melts. Pour into a 9x13 in pan. Add nuts if you like. (I did pecans) Arrange bread slices in a single layer on top. Mix eggs and milk and pour over bread. Mix sugar & cinnamon and sprinkle on top. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove cover and bake at 350 for 55 minutes.

does this freeze well?

I haven't try to freeze it, but the leftovers kept well in the frig for a few days.
