For those of you who don't quite know how to get to my recipe blog. Here is my favorite peanut butter cookie recipe and a link to my blog. Just click on this mammascookin.blogspot.com/ Best Ever Peanut butter Cookies 1/2 cup shortening 1/2 cup butter, softened 1 cup packed brown sugar 3/4 cup white sugar 1 cup chunky peanut butter 2 eggs 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 teas. salt 1 cup quick-cooking oats
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cream together shortening, margarine, brown sugar, white sugar and peanut butter until smooth. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until well blended. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; stir into creamed mixture. Mix in the oats until just combined. Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 10 to 15 minutes, The full 15 minutes gives you crisp melt in your mouth cookies.

Do you have a rough idea how many this makes? I think I'll use this for our cookie exchange but need to know roughly how many it might make.

Wanda, it all depends on the size cookie you make. I make them quite large and get like 3 dozen more or less. I never count any cookie I make.

That's about the number I get when I make them too. Very good cookies IMO.

Thank you, Mamma! I just needed to know for our cookie batter exchange so that I know if I should double the recipe.
