Good morning, there is coffee, so help yourselves. Since I can't get a clear response as to what is up today, I'll probably get going sooner than later. We did not get boughs yesterday, so that's fine and I'll take care of it myself. Gilbert-#1's dog, is here and is being a velcro dog, I think he knows I am going somewhere, but I'll head back tomorrow. This week, will be four days on and one day off, then nothing the next week or until I return from the trip. I'm supposed to get some wreath stuff from the Yeti's aunt, maybe I'll go there after school tomorrow. BBL, blessed be.

Good morning.
Chilly and 52ยบ this morning. Warming to 72 today with wind again. This wind is really getting annoying. Depending on how strong the wind will be no doors or windows may get opened. Mandy will be none to happy.
Yesterday I put my golf cart up for sale. I have a price I would like but if I can get enough to cover the batteries I'll be ok with that too. I'll be sending the windshield back that I ordered.
The jerky will go in the dehydrator today. And the scent will be strong in the house if I can't open the windows. The sheets need to get changed and Annie needs to tackle the floors. That's enough for one day, IMO.

I slept a little later this morning than yesterday. Dusting day. I'm putting a pork chop with cabbage & potatoes in the crock pot for my supper I'm thinking of making some of my Christmas cookies today or tomorrow.

Good morning grannies, it's a cold 29 now, it was 22 earlier and staying in the 30s today. A cloud cover now but should be some sunshine later today
Laurie, sounds like your trip will be soon? When is it? Wreath making is a really big job for you and your family!
Mamma hope the G cart sells quickly now that you have decided to sell it. Sounds like you and Mandy will be taking a couple of walks each day. I stopped sending cards several years ago. My handwriting is so bad I can't read some of it!
IC the supper cooking in the crockpot on this chilly will sure make your house smell so good!
I'll be home alone most of the day. Everyone is going to a football party. This is the big game if the year OSU and Michigan will be playing. The other 4 adults in this house are OSU grads. Lots of fans in this area. Ask me who won and I usually say "who cares" I'm not a fan! Most of the fans are so arrogant I sometimes hope for OSU to lose.DD has asked me to make an Angelfood cake while they are gone.It's cake mix so not a big job. Almost 50 years and DSIL finally told her that was his favorite cake no the one she usually did for his birthday!
I'll tweak the decorations a bit and do the cake that will be the extent of my work today.

It was 19* when I got up around 8:00 this morning. It's going to be a cold day but the sun is shining. I don't have plans to leave the house so it won't matter to me. The Christmas tree didn't get put up as I'm not feeling well. I still have plenty of time.

MAMMA I hope the golf cart sells and you get what you want price wise out of it. It sounds like you have another full day.
ICOOK The cabbage, chops and potatoes sounds good. I haven't bought cabbage in a long time. I like in in stir fry.
GRAMMY LOL I have said the same thing about the OSU team. But I'm confessing, it will be on here and I will cheer for them. That is if I stay awake. LOL Chuckling about your DSIL finally telling his wife about his cake. That's just like a man. LOL

Good Morning Ladies - - - It's cooler here also but the sun is out, so looks nice. It's 27 now. Yesterday I did nothing - I had a nap until the neighbor lady came with the mail and we visited a bit. I took a jar of soup out of the freezer for my supper and ate during half time of the Iowa BB game. I would have liked to watch the girls game also but that was on some place that you need to pay to view. Of course, the football game didn't interest me except that I was happy they won. It seems to take a long time from this granny to recover from doing nothing!!!
Laurie, I know your wreaths will be beautiful once again. I hope you have time to share pictures. Have a good time putting them together.
Mamma, do you have your eye on a new GC or are you just going to get along with out it? You seemed to enjoy it so much that I can't imagine you would want to be without it.
IC, hope you enjoy your time making cookies - there will not be many here - if any, it will be ginger snaps.
Grammy, the angel food cake will be a nice surprise for the birthday boy, after all these years. HB to him!! Enjoy your quite day.
Well, not much happening here yet, I need to shower when my coffee is gone, and then I need to do a few chores around here.

Well, one more load of wood cut and stacked. As soon as I get my act together I will head to the farm, with a few stops first. I need to go to $ General today so I can use their $5 off coupon, since I have several things to get anyways. Al called with something he needed, so there will be a Walmart stop in there too. If any of you like flavored water, they have a blue raspberry one that is very good, whatever the store brand is. I will be meeting #1 on the 7th to go to his house and fly the next day. They are at Kate's parents this weekend, he's sent some beautiful pictures.

Grammy, my penmanship is horrible and hard to read too. My hands shake when I have to write small or neatly. I had the printer print out the addresses. Enjoy your alone time of peace and quiet. I have an angel food cake mix too but no angel food cake pan. 
Elle, I hope and pray that you will soon get well. Enjoy your games today.
Jane, yes I plan on getting another golf cart, a newer one. In the heat of the summer it is a necessity. Yesterday I saw that the football team from my home town, won the state tournament. As you know I don't care for or watch any sports. Now if there was a Karate tournament, I would watch that. I so enjoyed taking Karate with Linoln.
IC, I slept in a tiny bit today too. But didn't sleep worth a hoot all night.
Beef is in the dehydrator, sheets changed and I'm about to put mock turtles in the oven to melt the Rolos and add the pecans. I've got a horrible sweet tooth.

Good Morning...
It was a very cold 18* when I got up. DD came with the kids and we walked down town to the parade. Glad she has one of those nice big utility type wagons for the kids to ride in. The sides zip down so they can sit and watch the parade from it if they want to, and Penny did. Her toes were so cold. I had a big heavy blanket that I put around her. Teddy wanted to sit along the curb with his mommy. They got a boat load of candy. That was Penny's highlight along with seeing Santa. And Teddy's highlight was the train that went through while the parade was going on. The tracks sit up high and run along side main street...so he had a great view of it. We always hear it from my house when we are out playing but he never actually sees it.
I'm now about to enjoy left overs for lunch from Thanksgiving.
I'll be cheering for Michigan. LOL

I've been busy all day again Almost done dusting. I'm planning on making the cookie dough(cherry snowballs) Don't know if they get baked today.

Wow an older than me lady stopped and wants to buy my golf cart. I'm going to let her drive it before she makes a decision. If it acts up I can let her know that it will do that once in awhile, it has not left me stranded yet. that is why I'm selling it so cheap. All I want out of it is the cost of the batteries and new brakes. She is going out for lunch with some friends friends now. I will also her tell her I want cash not a check.. I've been burned before with checks, never again. So we may have to wait until Monday to finalize the sale. Monday I'll go to look at some newer carts.

Mamma, I thought of you as I made the Angel food cake. You said you had the cake mix but no pan. This one (Betty Crocker) has instructions for baking in loaf pans or making cup cakes. You might want to check this out.

Woohoo. The golf cart is sold, well almost. She will bring me the cash on Monday. Then I can go and look at a different cart, one that I can rely on in the heat of the summer. A really nice lady bought it and brought her friends husband to look at it and drive it too. I told them that it gets an attitude and what it may do again. In fact it happened when they backed out of my drive way. I told them what to do and off they went down the road. he wasn't concerned at all. He said for a 1992 it ran good. Now I hope I can find one I like and staying in my budget that I have saved.
